I so want to open a shop called GGG. We specialize in Guns, Guitars and Go Fasts!

Of course I would never make any money because it would just feed my collection obsession.
You looking for a partner in business? :)

Re: Is it illegal to deface political signs?

I am no lawyer but if you own neither the property nor the signs, defacing them would be an act of vandalism, no?

Not that I condone political signs left out and forgotten months after all the campaigning.

Running weapon serial # during a traffic stop?

Supposedly the City of Galveston police have a policy that any time they encounter a firearm, they must check its serial number which means handling a (potentially) loaded weapon, calling in serial # and receiving "roger" from dispatch. Four questions: 1) has anyone encountered this in any other jur...

Re: Building an electric guitar from kit

It's incredible what can be done with willing and skilled hands :) Agreed. It is also sad how few skilled hands remain nowadays. I saw an awesome sunburst orange Jackson Dinky at a pawn shop once. Haggled with the owner a little, he wouldn't budge on the price which was a little out of my price ran...

The firearm auction ... Since it's a courthouse, all attendees will need to leave firearms and ammo in their vehicles.
Does anyone else grin at the irony here? LOL

Re: 30.06 Ruling Letters

CoA is not the only violator, Travis County is second in line and Williamson County might be involved too. And of course then there are numerous other cities and counties in other parts of our state. I hope Paxton gets the law upheld "eventually", whenever that happens, with all the court delays, re...

Re: Building an electric guitar from kit

I enjoy soldering - but taking a drill to a guitar gives me the creeps: No argument here. It just feels wrong, doesn't it? :) It seems like you finished the project and can start enjoying it. Kudos. Not many people are tinkerers with enough ballz to build a guitar. I remember when about ...

Re: Waller County

Thank you, ELB. Now, any idea on how much longer these blue cities and counties will be violating our constitution? IMHO, the AG really needs to get off his lazy butt to uphold the law and punish criminals. I have no idea why this is taking so long. If I committed a crime, I'd be in jail asap. Why c...

She could be for all the "free cheese" she wants. There is absolutely zero chance of that liar ever being the president. I've said it before and I'll say it again: be very careful, do not underestimate the stupidity of the voter base. As the general populace IQ numbers go down, the democratic poll ...

Re: TX: Dallas LTC holder fends off robbers at home cookout

Ironically enough, my wife just gave me grief for carrying during a barbeque at my house. My daughter is headed back to college today, so I decided to smoke a brisket for her on Sunday. My wife took a picture of me carving up the meat, and posted it to Facebook, where she immediately got comments b...

Re: TX: Dallas LTC holder fends off robbers at home cookout

If the LTC was questioned and released by Dallas PD, does the mention of a Grand Jury mean the DA will seek and indictment for the LTC for killing the robber? Or does it maybe mean that the DA will seek an indictment for the other two robbers that fled the scene? My money is on no-billing the LTC g...

Re: Fort Worth's dollar store rules are Bloomberg nanny style!

We are the only major industrialized country in the world without nationalized single payer "food care". Food health is too important to be left to the uniformed masses, Everyone, regardless of income should be covered by national Foodicare. A federally licensed dietitian will evaluate your needs a...
