Re: Poll: 2013 Session

In PC §46.15 - Nonapplicability : Move (b)(6) dealing with CHL's from (b) to (a), placing them in the same category as LEO's, and making PC §46.02 and PC §46.03 non-applicable to CHL's. That would leave PC §46.035 still applying to CHL's, but it sets up the next session (2015) to have a bill allowi...

Re: Majestic Theater San Antonio--Posted?

It wasn't when I went last year. Even if it was, I believe the city of SA owns it http://www.majesticempire.com/aboutACE.php and thus a posting is not enforceable. Note that although there is a lease to another entity, the city maintains ownership. Neat venue, I wouldn't want to be downtown unarmed....

Advanced scanners supposedly detect through clothing

I hope this technology doesn't work. I'm scared that it might. Imagine the 4th admenendment violations that could happen.

Website has a paranoid bent but seems to have real technology documented.

Re: Have you seen this sign before?

You can contact the TABC if you want, as others have mentioned, many have had good luck getting them to fix the signs.. What I would do, to save time, I'd lookup the business on the TABC website following the guide here: http://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=45112&hilit=tabc+lookup You ca...

Liability release: 30.06 relief for 2013?

Since there isn't a 2013 session forum yet, I'll post this here. While some folks have thankfully said they've never seen a compliant 30.06 sign, in the major cities I've seen more and more of them. Within the last few months my kids' pediatrician medical building was posted. I try to take my busine...

Last one. His response to my comments that SB 766 did nothing of what he said. Maybe he can protect his 'rang' http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=8&t=453094&page=1 Originally Posted By LoneStarCDL: Ramble all you want to ARTX, we can all clearly see how the text was missing. We can...

Re: Another False Allegation by LSCDL President Re: SB766

I visit the AR15.com "Texas" hometown forum a lot as well as this forum. They are trying to stir up the same nonsense there. Here are some of the comments from SB 905. While we had a great debate on it here, "LoneStarCDL"'s comments were off putting to say the least. Here's one of the comments and m...

Re: CALL TO ACTION: SB905

Has someone seen SB 905 on Local and Uncontested calender itself? The status from the website shows that the house committee recommended it for the calendar -but that calendar's committee hasn't placed it yet (Usually says 'considered in calendars' when it is actually considered, and "placed on 'bla...

Re: SB 354 motion on the Senate floor ...

I'm guessing this was a symbolic thing? I appreciate Wentworth doing it, but if we don't have the votes and the rules (guess they can be changed?) say that it is too late for a bill to pass one chamber and go to the other if it has never passed the orig chamber....

Re: URGENT CALL-TO-ACTION: SB766 - Range Protection Bill

Everyone needs to call Calendars Chairman Todd Hunter every day between now and Tuesday and respectfully but strongly state that SB766 is needed to protect ranges in Texas from frivolous lawsuits. Tell him also that it needs to be put on the State Major Calendar because you are aware that, if he pu...
