Re: Walmart Pistol Ammo

Cases? none.... individual boxes? Changes day to day. Out Walmart gets between 0 and 5 boxes per shipment and only gets 1-3 shipments per week that contain ammo.

If you live near an Academy, they seem to be getting much more than Walmart these days, as is Cabela's.

Re: Finally Did It

Hey, 1911/Glock, are all among the great debates of mankind. I don't know how great it is.... Often debated for sure, but only about as "great" as arguing with a drunk friend that he's had one too many to be driving. They, like the glockies, always say they are "just fine!" . :boxing All in fun.......

2 CHL's 1 gun- the other question

If you and a friend were in the car together and he had a chl and you knew he was carrying, but you were not... and were asked during a stop if there were any weapons in the car- would you volunteer his weapon? Or would you answer differently if asked if YOU had any weapons vs ARE there any weapons?...

If I'm asked if there is a firearm in the vehicle, and I answer yes, that's a problem. if it's legally carried by someone else. It's on or about her person and she's legal, why do you have to claim it as yours? Where does the law say the "driver" owns the contents of anything "about" your person, w...

Re: Post Office Ban in Parking Lots Unconstitutional

Considering the vast amount of Federal laws in existence, ALL of us are likely criminals anyway.... I've never grasped why some folks will park across the street and walk to a post office to avoid this. It's quite simple really- it's the law. I don't like it but by ignoring it, I would be no better...

development spurs infastructure

While traffic during construction is usually an inconvenience, it's temporary. When our Walmart was built, they widened the roads leading in, as well as widening intersections, adding turn lanes and a new traffic light... it's MUCH better than before. Costs were split between several public and priv...

Re: Looking For A Gun..

Call STI directly, as they will likely point you to a dealer that has one. I did when I wanted a particular model and the sales guy gave me some specific dealers to call that had ordered them for stock. I also saw several shadow's on gunbroker. (I'm not familiar with a shadow II)

Re: What to practice to improve score

Not to be cliche' but the chl test is pass/fail. The test you may someday face on the street will be much more serious than that. Train for the latter, and the former will take care of itself. Anyone who is prepared for a street confrontation will score well on the chl test. The reverse is not neces...

I got my wife and all of our bible study group to get theirs! That's 14!. Working on a few more friends as well. but like others he is afraid of some "govt list." You'll never convince me that they aren't already capturing the info when the background checks are called in. There is probably only a 9...

Re: Gun Safes and Their Installation

Many folks bolt down their safes to their concrete slab. Sure, such a precaution may be THE way to go, but I wonder how often thieves make off with these mega-heavy items when not bolted down Bolting it down keeps it upright , which is the larger concern- not theft of the actual box. A thief can ge...

I think the quick ship belts are bull only. However, my wait time was only 2-2.5 weeks for custom belts.

Re: Leather Belt Maker - Anyone Have Hopp and Beltman?

I own 3 beltman belts so I'm not just blowing smoke. Check with A&G gunleather, I believe it's a better belt... prices are same as beltman, but prettier and finished nicer. (stiffness of my A & G belts, exceeds beltman in apples to apples belts.) Al also has a quick ship line for standard options.
