Re: Printable Texas Administrative Code

The main reason I started doing that was to track changes in the code, which is why it's marked up. With the law you can look up all previous versions and bills, not so the code far as I can find.

Re: Printable Texas Administrative Code

If you're only looking for the LTC portion I put this together a while back. I try to keep it updated and think this is.

Re: Is this legal open carry?

This is also why they said a handgun in a holster laying on a car seat is not legal. It's not in a belt holster cause the holster is not attached to a belt. What if the holster on the car seat was attached to a belt, would it be legal then? You'd have to ask them. I will note that they stated this ...

Re: Is this legal open carry?

IWB/open is exactly how I've been carrying this past week, including this morning when I was running errands. IANAL, but this is how I interpret the laws: as long as the holster is a shoulder or belt holster (regardless of design), it is fine to use. Open carrying with a belly band, pocket holster,...

Re: Woud be nice to be able to do drills

.... Come on down to Houston and visit the Brazos River Sportsman's Club. Leigh John (the range owner) has several bays around the property to allow for private shooting areas. One of them has a 270-degree radius of berms around it. No, I don't have any stake in the place, but I do a lot of qualifi...

Woud be nice to be able to do drills

All these drills that have been posted are great, but you all must have some exceptional ranges in your area if you can actually do them. Of the six ranges I've been to in the NE-SE San Antonio area it's only possible at one. Lone Star has tactical bays to rent. Another one says don't do this stuff ...

Yep. One day, hopefully not too long, you will get an email giving you a choice of classes. At least that was my case. I think I had two dates.

Whats the originating domain of the sender?
Don't remember. Deleted it after verifying it was bogus. Ms Caballero, RSD, did also verify it was bogus.

Help Support Dave Recovery, spam?

Got an email to my instructor email address this afternoon with the above subject. Started off: "Dear Member, One of our member is in dire need of the entire Texas Department of Public Safety help and it will really be appreciated if we all can join hands together to save his son. A fundraising camp...

ACR! As a field artillery officer in Germany, I was especially appreciative of the ACR. They would give me targets and keep the Russian Hordes off of me when they came pouring through the Fulda Gap. I was in the Fulda Gap during my first 4.5 years in the military. I spent my first year almost on th...

I'm struggling to understand how an asymptomatic person infects others, and how wearing a "mask" stops it. Air flow from a person without & with a mask. https://www.lavision.de/cms_images/news/bos-covid19.gif?m=1585647199 Oh, and I'll be going with this. https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-q9ptxvukwz/i...

Re: Anyone personally know of an open range?

My backyard is open. Country life is great. I bet it is. My little 2 acres definitely isn't enough but it is a decent compromise, all things considered. SA-TX We have 20 so plenty of shotgun room. Behind us is better then 500 acres. We have plenty of coon and other small varmint hunting I'm looking...
