Thanks flintknapper, this one will be for several ladies in our church that have recently learned to shoot. You met one. What about variety & a really wide selection to look at for those that are just learning what they will like & what feels good? I'd pass on it for variety, in as much as it conce...

I've never been to the "Conroe show" so I don't know how it compares to Tyler. I live about 20 miles North of you, so Tyler is where we usually go. Its generally a pretty decent event, and we have no trouble getting the ladies to go, because they like to shop at the Mall while we "men-folk" cruise t...

No problem.

I've been stopped twice in eight years. Once by the DPS for not having a front license plate on my Early Bronco, and once for an expired inspection sticker, by the Sheriffs dept. Both officers were very professional and courteous, neither did anything other than give my CHL a cursory look and hand i...

Info. for a "Newbie" please.

Not "new" to shooting (been doing that for over 35 yrs.), but new to the forum. I am looking for a good Rifle/Pistol range near the Magnolia/Conroe area. My Brother and his wife recently moved to Magnolia from Austin and are looking for a good place to shoot. His wife is interested in obtaining her ...

Got it.

Thanks guys, that clears it up for me.

Over the years, I've heard it was not legal to carry in a church, then it was, then it wasn't..........

None of the States business really.

Seems funny to me that the "State" feels it has the right to dictate that we may or may not "carry" in Church. What suddenly happened to "separation of Church and State." Additionally, the last time I checked...Churches are privately owned. This being the case, it makes sense that they should be req...

Re: I need help from you IDPA guys!

Anyone know how I can get a hold of a copy of the "How to run a Match" video? I've done a web search, but can't seem to find much info on the video...other than viewing it is required to become an SO. Any help will be much appreciated. I have a copy if you haven't already found one. Derrick Birdsal...

'bout time!

This is certainly good news. With this newest addition, it is now possible to travel from Arizona all the way to Florida (through the lower states) while carrying, or vice versa.

You're just out of luck when you reach California (in more than one way). :)
