Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?

I finally got some proper lighting installed in my work area in the garage. Now I just need a task light on the bench and I'll be in business. I've been tinkering with this 200 gr Berry's plated flat point load for 45 ACP. My last attempt, 5.0 gr of HP 38 cycled reliably with consistent ejection but...

Re: Years gone by

Packing.org was my introduction to the idea that everyday people carry a gun for self defense. Never spent much time there but I remember it.

I used an umbrella for self defense once. Against a sketchy pedal cab driver in Beijing. Worked pretty well.

How long have you been a Kingsman?

Re: Keep an eye on Virginia

The "ban on training" is nothing new. It's been the law in Virginia since 1987. A lot of the blogs and voices on the internet seem to be missing this. The additional ban in this proposed amendment to the existing law is parading or drilling with firearms with the intent to intimidate. That said I st...

Re: Glock Killer ?

Well I've never seen a Taurus described as a Glock killer but here we are. To each his own. ;-) I also don't think the cost of the Striker Control Device is out of line. Design, machining and finishing of small quantity, high quality parts isn't cheap. I once paid $40 for a simple after market Garan...

Re: .357 Magnum Revolver recommendations

What manner of heresy is this? :bigmouth Way less heretical than pairing a western classic like a lever gun with a double action revolver. I thought about that for about a minute once. I came to the conclusion that I didn't want to carry a 6-shooter, hammer down on an empty chamber .... so RE...

Re: .357 Magnum Revolver recommendations

A lever action requires a single action revolver. ;)

A 5.5" Ruger Vaquero would fit the bill nicely.

I really like my Ruger PC9, although it’s not as tacticool as some other models.
Mine worked fine but I found it boring to shoot for some reason. Traded it off and haven't looked back.

Per Sheriff Gonzalez "a child gaining access to a gun is the second-leading cause of death in America." One more lie from an anti-gun Democrat.

Chas.
Does heart disease and cancer know they've been replaced?

That lie is patently absurd.

You guys missed out on a good breakfast. The cooks seem to be doing well now. And possibly the best conversation in the history of the breakfasts.
I keep wanting to go but my Fridays off don't line up with the breakfast anymore. :???:
