Re: Captain Crozier ( USS Roosevelt )sendoff by his sailors

First, I'll say I'm a big fan of NRA member and beloved President Colonel Theodore Roosevelt.

Then I'll just leave this here...

Re: OK: Tulsa CHL kills active shooter at mall.

First I heard of it, here and now. Exactly the ooint. Conservative: "Good guy defeats bad guy, with a gun. See? Guns CAN be used for good." Liberal: "SSSSSHHHHHH!!!! You crazy? Don't let that leak out to the public!" ...such results do not just happen. In a democracy they can be accomplished princi...

No. Masks are only useful if you are trying to keep from spreading the covid infection to others. Depends on the mask. Surgical masks are primarily from sharing your germs with others. Wearing respirators, like N95, will prevent you from breathing in viruses from the air. You just can't touch the f...

Appleseed Handgun

Looks like low cost handgun training will be available in Texas in the not too distant future. Appleseed recently conducted a Train the Trainer event in Waco: https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1187585 Course of fire looks challenging. Particularly stage 3 I'm looking forward to ...

So, CHL holder stops an active shooter with no innocents killed... and zero reports of innocents hurt... and the story is only told on local news. Sad that legacy media is so predictable.

My hat's off to the CHL :tiphat: :txflag:

When I read the title I thought it was going to be a warning about catching corona virus off the pump handle.
LOL, that was my first thought too. The virus can live 3 days on metal/plastic and everybody touches the pump handle... I am using disposable gloves to get gas now.

Re: Need help with “Essential Businesses”

I find it strange that Houston Galveston and New York refuse to shut down public transit systems. People crammed into tin cans coughing and sneezing all the while moving them across town. How is this safer than eating at your favorite restaurant? Leftist hate automobiles but love taxpayer funded tr...

Re: Practicing an old CQB point-shooting drill again

I tried the drill at 3 yards and Chas I'm impressed! Struggled to keep the shots on the silhouette at 3 yards and had to walk them into the target zone. I usually use the retention (aka Quarter-Hip Position) for distances of Zero-to-2 yards. Accuracy at 3 yards is gonna take me some practice. I trie...

Of note (for the 2 year period): -Of the 10 citizen engagements, 80% were successful and ending the shooting -Memorial Tire and Auto incident was the only recorded incident of a CCW holder being wounded (none were killed) -The only security guard wounded was unarmed Those are very impressive numbers...

Re: FBI Report on active shooter incidents

Looks like they revised their definition of "active shooter" to a more useful definition. The term "mass attacker" would be even better, as these attackers choose a variety of weapons.
