Re: New 6.8 mm Round a Game-Changer for Ground Troops

I think this part was the most noteworthy: Last year’s announcement that the 6.5 Creedmoor will soon replace the familiar 7.62 NATO in many of the rifles shouldered by USSOCOM precision marksmen did little to quash the rumor. The ballistic advantages it offers special forces are also well-documented...

Re: The Tactical Games coming to Texas

More on the Triple C 3rd Saturday Skirmish events Thanks, I was trying to research that. The games apparently only allow 5.56. I emailed to see if 300BLK is acceptable, and they replied no. I'm betting its to easily track that you are using proper ammo (no competitive loads). I'll have to build out...

What actually being against fascism in America would look like

There's a lot of bogus talk about fighting fascism in the world today. As a thought project, I am imaging what actually fighting fascism in America would look like. It's important to first define fascism. John T Flynn, a left wing American and critic of FDR, was a contemporary observer of fascism an...

Re: AR optics -dual or dual purpose?

I like EOTECHs and have a number of them. The XPS2-0 is fast and easy to hit with event at distance with my middle aged eyes. While I think the ACOG's are better for distance work, the EOTECH is probably still better than most shooters at 300-400 yards (without magnification). Good to know, is the ...

Re: Finland: Mass hacking in Helsinki school 1 dead 9 wounded

Mass attacks can occur with blades, vehicles: Man Is Charged With Terrorism After Driving S.U.V. Through Illinois Mall , bombs, poison, fire, etc Sick people and terrorists are out there and need to be dealt with. Too many recent mass shootings(i.e. New Zealand, Ohio) are being committed by gun grab...

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

They are in the sentencing phases and the DA has used a couple of her social media posts that make her look like she was looking to kill. The two that caught my attention were memes talking about shooting to kill. Makes me think about how social media has changed the world. Best be mindful of what ...

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

I think she made a fatal error during her testimony. The prosecutor asked her if, when she fired at the victim, did she intend to kill him....and she answered unequivocally, "yes". He immediately repeated the question, as if he couldn’t believe her affirmative answer, and the second time, she answe...

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

I have caught bits and pieces of the trial. Mainly reporting on the AM radio. Why did the jury not get to hear the Texas Ranger say she acted reasonably? I haven't seen an explanation why that statement was not in front of the jury. I, too, have only heard bits and pieces. But I did hear that quote...
