I have found out over the years that when engaging a person about this issue, most of the time it becomes a battle of elementary perceptions and ideas based primarily on an emotional level of understanding the issue... I sent him an email as well. Made my suggestion for a new title and shared a few personal thoughts. Nothing rude, but enough for his mind to chew on that there's a chance he won't be writing another 'pro-criminal' article in the near future. Will see if I get any response.

But what really is a commonsense precaution??? Everytime I have ever heard the term "commonsense", it was used in conjunction with gun-control... Well in my mind commonsense precautions are situational awarness, along with at least one gun, reloads, and prefferablly some armed friends. I'm not sure...
