Re: Ramifications of Printing

I think the OP's question has been answered.. so.. the only thing I'll add is... When purchasing t-shirts for summer concealment... 1. Thicker material will provide better concealment. (golf shirts generally conceal more easily that t-shirts) 2. Wearing 2 thin t-shirts will conceal better than one t...

Re: Looking for a Compact 40Cal

HK P2000SK Same size as the XD... Just a bit better in my hand... YMMV The XD would likely be my 2nd choice for a compact .40.. http://www.dutraarms.com/store/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/H/K/HK709302-A5_1.jpg i'm not too familiar with HK handguns, but i abso...

Re: Man Gets in Gunfight with Police over Taco Bell Prices

Question: Mr. Biv.... Why do you carry a gun? Answer: Looking out the windows, he said he saw the man put an assault rifle and a handgun on the roof of his Mitsubishi Eclipse. Customers dove under their tables, the employees scrambled to the back and Tillerson ran to the front to lock the doors as h...

Re: If Texas adopted a state gun what would it be?

It would have to be something MADE in TX.. No? STI has lots of choices... This one has some throw-back value, but I'd pick a 1911.. http://www.stiguns.com/guns/Texican/Texican.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; .45LC http://www.stiguns.com/guns/Texican/images/Texican_Det1.jpg But I l...

Re: Kahr Arms Customer Service

The mag release seems to be a regular issue with Kahr. My P40 covert release was "upgraded" twice.. first from polymer to steel/polymer then to a redesigned steel/polymer. The original full polymer release sheared off after about 100 rounds and the magazine fell out with rounds still in it. The firs...

Re: Help, I Need to Renew My CHL and I all screwed up.

Call DPS.. Tell them you recently moved..and your renewal is coming due.. They'll tell you what to do.. In the grand scheme of things, not a big deal.. IMO Own up and get 'er done. Someone will be along soon who made the same mistake and tell you exactly how it worked out.. but if it was me, I'd jus...

Re: 5000 unclaimed towed cars?

I know a guy that sold a car and then a number of months later received a ticket in the mail for a stop light camera violation 200 miles away. He had filled out the seller transfer form and sent it in to the state, but apparently it hadn't been processed, and the buyer hadn't had the title transfer...

Re: Carrying at the 1 o'clock

I carry AIWB most of the time... 1:00 I also own a SuperTuck ("ST")... I've tied it at 3:30-4:00 and find that I'm just not a big fan of strong side carry, but, I'm still trying it out occasionally... I've also tried the ST at 1:00... Here's my $0.02 1. If I'm standing, it works ok. 2. If I'm sittin...

Re: Gas at $6 or $7?

If Iran tries to block the straight or Suez, it would result in a brief and spectacular light show.

Well... that is unless our President is too busy playing golf or visiting Mr. Chavez with his kids for Spring Break. :grumble

Crossfire, Is his OK permit still valid once he becomes a Texas resident? Would he need to switch to a non-resident permit? Does OK even offer a non-resident permit? Re: Sometimes you get a little good done...

Banner ad services are another place this happens on an innocent site. All the more reason to use ad blocking software... Good suggestion.... On FF I'm using... Adblock Plus (blocks ad's, uses a free blacklist, works GREAT) Flashblock (block flash until you ask it to play. Safer and speeds things u...
