Re: New acquisition

If my wife had that policy, I would apply it to said wife and get a new one! :)

Re: here's what we've been waiting for!

I'm probably the only that doesn't know why 'single stack' pistols are all the rage. I wouldn't want a low round count firearm if the tradeoff is it's simply slimmer than my Glock 19. What makes them so desirable? Small, single stack pistol is pocketable. No need to dress around the gun like you do...

Might as well carry the G19 if you have the extender... same grip size.

Sprouts posted in Dec 2013 / Jan 2014 timeframe. Open carry shenanigans were going on in the summer of 2013. It appears that the posting is in response to the OC movement.

Re: XD variants

I've thought about pocket carry but that means no access when in the car and less access when sitting elsewhere. Taking away the pocket carry option suggests looking past the smaller XDS and smallest XD. That still leaves several options. Why do you say that you have no access when in the car? Gran...

Re: Ordered a J frame

I would try that Glock again with a holster... I don't find them to be pocket guns. The size and shape of the grip of a semiauto in a caliber above .380 causes it to snag on even cargo pants pockets. The grip shape of the J frame is very pocket friendly. It can be drawn very quickly from a good poc...

Re: ar15 22 conversion kit

I have a dedicated .22lr AR-15 and one of the best things I have done to it was to add a Better Mag adapter to allow it to take S&W M&P 15-22 magazines. It also gives it the bolt hold open after the last shot, so that the CMMG operates like my 5.56. Since adding this to my rifle, I prefer my...

Re: Carry gun shopping

Long post to follow. lets see -low recoil -pocket carry capable - carry iwb or carry owb So this is what you are looking for. A do it all gun. You say you have no problem with a 380? Just know that lower recoil standard pressure 9mm is leaps and bounds ahead of any 380 round. Well first off if you ...

Re: What is your concealed weapon?

Currently a Kel Tec PF9, but in the process of replacing that with a Sig P290RS. Before that, a CZ 75 P-01, and before that a Glock 23.
