Did anyone else get this email?
I got this email today from NRA-ILA, anybody else? Texas Senate Passes Two Pro-Gun Measures and Expected to Act on Another Soon This week, the Texas Senate passed two NRA-backed measures: Senate Bill 299 by state Senator Craig Estes (R-Wichita Falls), which protects Texas Concealed Handgun Licensees...

Re: I Hope I am Wrong
Speaker Strauss has no intention of letting pro-gun bills pass. That would be a slap in the face to the Washington crowd right now and I don't think that Strauss is willing to do that. If true, he needs to go. It is rediculous for a Republican congress in a solidly conservative state to not pass pr...

Re: I Hope I am Wrong
I do not know how all the Senate/House stuff works but isn't it possible that Gov Perry could help get some of the gun bills pushed a little so they don't just sit on Strauss's desk? He is the boss isn't he.

Re: email from Mark Kelly
I would like to know where "they" come up with the polls that show this so-called 90+% of gun owners are for universal background checks, I have been a gun owner for a while and have had many friends that are owners too yet anyone I know or have talk to has never answered a poll.

When the time is right we will receive a call to action on HB 3218. I am ready to respectfully but strongly support HB 3218. I have both the phone mnumbers and e-mails of all of the Homeland Security Committee members as well as those of the reps based on where I live. I intend to both call and e-m...

Unfortunately DPS has to wait on FBI. They are just a little busy--but hang in there. :grumble When I talked to a lady with NICS, she said that dps kind of " back doors " the NICS system when they do their BG check. Not sure what the heck that means! :confused5 Hmmmm :headscratch Think th...
