Re: Aliengear holsters.
When i went from leather to hybrid, i started with crossbreed. They had a good reputation so I ordered. Ive still got that first horsehide cb super tuck and still use it occasionally (full size 1911). When I started carrying my XD45 tactical more, crossbreed had a 3 month + lead time. I am not parti...

Re: Proposed: Texas require all motorists to carry yellow safety vests in their vehicles
The bad thing is, I do keep a pair in my truck - as well as a hi-vis niosh rain jacket. Spending quite a bit of time on the side of the road has taught me their value. Idiot drivers, like rodents and toddlers, are attracted to shiny things - when I eventually get smashed I want it full on right prop...

Re: Just Correlation or Also Causation
To slightly expand on that - even in the most liberal enclaves of America, self defense is viable if not civiliy protected.
In the UK, self defense is just another charge - there is no incentive for the subjects to assume personal responsibility, instead it is actively discouraged.

Re: First aid kits
"Anything one might come across " Thats a pretty broad range. The bigger question is what can you use? NAR pocket ifak is great for stopping breeding from limited trauma. An ALS bag will have iv kits, decompression needles, an assortment of drugs, chrichotomy kit, ob kits....and on and on....

Re: Mercy Killing of Animals
Not sure where the rest of my post went, but - yes it would be very wise to contact a game warden, animal control or law enforcement dependent on the location. While Texas animal cruelty laws specifically exempt killing an animal you own, provided it does not rise ti the level of cruelty, they do ad...

Look at the Springfield XDS for thin, 9mm width is .9 inches. If you want double stack mags, the xd mod 2 is only 1.19 wide.

Re: Trouble Purchasing Rifle at Walmart
Many years ago I had a few similar issues. Back in the paper application and inked prints days. I'm a junior, my DL says JR but my first CHL did not. After 9-10 months wait to get it, I was horrified it would be invalid. Called dps and they said easy fix and I was good to carry as is and I would get...

Re: CONCEALED CARRY IWB HOLTERS
Everyone has a favorite holster maker, and can give you x many reasons why it is "the best" same can be said for boots, trucks, and guns. Most of us who've been carrying for years have THE DRAWER or THE BOX. Its the place where holsters go when it's time for something else. I started with ...
