Re: Sheriff demos ineffectiveness of magazine restrictions
He was obviously counting shots down range. He shot 14 then 16 so as not to require racking the slide. He then shot 9/10/11 then 5/6/6/6/7. She did the same thing.

Re: We are the enemy
It sounds like (if it passes) I will be able to taylor my classes according to the students vs. a mandated time. I have had large classes with chatty students that take every bit of the 10 hours. I also had a small class with a husband/wife that had already taken the course and never submitted the p...

Re: We are being sold, GOP style.
So how do you reach the conclusion "We are being sold, GOP style"? All of these bills at the federal and state levels are being introduced and championed by DEMOCRATS . Just because there are a handful of (R) senators who state they are willing to discuss the issue does not mean that is t...

Re: PBS Special on Adam Lanza & His Mother
Both programs were on last night in Houston. (I can't stand evening programing, so I channel surf) The first program "After Newtown" was very liberal and had many college professors giving their opinion. It was better than Piers Morgan, but not much. I only yelled at the screen three or fo...

AR 15's at Buds Guns
For the past two days, Buds has shown "in stock" a DPMS Sportical for $1049 and a Stag A3 for $1359. I know the DPMS is about $300 more than before the price rise. I don't know much about Stag. The good thing about Buds is no tax or shipping charge. (I have no relationship with Buds)

Re: The "W" word and it's connotations.
If I recall correctly from my CHL Instructor class, we were told to not use "weapon" because it had an offensive connotation. They preferred "handgun, rifle", etc.

Re: Son's First Shot of 223/5.56
His words.. "it was loud and kinda freaked me" I shot a couple so he could get used to the crack. After he shot 10 or so, he started getting comfortable. He's still wanting to close his eyes in anticipation. He didn't even notice the transition from 223 to 5.56. I shoot my AR with a mixtu...
