Re: NICS Delay question
You have the correct understanding of the rule. Certainly you can contact them to see if they have an update, they are able to check it online. Before the end of the third day, if it should be denied, they will get a voice confirmation from the NICS folks to insure they are aware of the change in st...

Re: Governor Perry Visits Larue Tactical......
Brings a whole new meaning to the "Don't Mess with Texas" slogan, doesn't it?
Way to Go Gov! Not too many of your fellow Governors would be caught dead that close to a gun manufacturer.

Re: Lock up your pets in SW Houston
I thought all animals in Texas were considered livestock, wouldn't that be rustlin'? I think we're back to the 'Get a rope' dioscussion. Along the same line, we have a large lake in the front of our community which has severl ducks and geese. Not too long ago we had reports of a couple capturing one...

Re: National Ask Day
Is there a gun in your home? It's a simple question that safety experts said can save a child's life. Amen! If there's a gun in the house you can feel safer knowing they can protect your child. I would honestly have to answer, "no, there is not A gun in this house" Now if they asked if th...

Re: back to work, back to not carrying
If this is a typical office park with a large, open, PUBLIC parking area, can they REALLY enforce a 'no firearms in the vehicle' policy?

Re: Where to carry after shoulder surgery?
Skip, I've had both Shoulders done. Depending on the extent of the surgery, your arm will be in a sling for 3 to 6 weeks. After that you'll be working on your range of motion in therapy sessions. From my experience, the hardest motion to get back is the one were you would reach into your back pocket...

Did they ask if you own a lawn mower and a gas can?
I would be much, MUCH more worried about Gasoline than powder.
Just my opinion.

Re: What timer do you use for tumbler
I thought about this the other day, REALLY hard, got a head-ache. Then I remembered a timer I have for the Christmas lights. It's optical, so when it gets dark, it kicks on for a pre-selected time period, 2, 4, 6 or dusk til dawn. Well, set it for 2 hours, made sure to turn off the lights in the gar...

Re: Reliant Gun Show
I ended up going yesterday afternoon. I'm sorry I missed longtooth and others. The show was a mixed bag. Ammunition prices were absurd. The majority of the modern firearm & accessory prices were up from last year but not obscenely. ARs are coming back under $1k. Non-window PMAGs were plentiful ...
