Re: A Dishonest Dallas Doctor
I guess he couldn't go the serial monogamy route most in the U.S. prefer... One doctor friend of mine has been married 5 times and working on the 6th. Each thoroughly divorced before proceeding to the next. If you're gonna have wives in parallel, you'll need some way to afford it... Too bad he chos...

Re: UT Tyler Campus Carry Policy
Additionally, they are sending their kids to "gun free" zones which puts them at a greater risk of being attacked, either by someone with a gun or sexual predators who know that their victims are unarmed. Great call mom and dad. : That makes sense to me, but are there any statistics to ac...

Re: Is This Sign Legal?
Personally, if a super-vision LEO arrested me when 30.06 wasn't valid in the first place, and took me to jail even though it is a class C and not an arrestable offense, and I had to sit in jail until arraignment because the DA stated they had cause to keep me, I would be suing everyone involved for...

Re: Is This Sign Legal?
Really...he can tell that I'm carrying with his cop x-ray vision? But despite being one of law enforcement's concealed carry super spotters, he forgets that 30.06 doesn't apply and is only a class c anyway with no jail as a possible penalty. Then he calls the squad car to come and pick me up and do...

Re: SOROS FUNDED MOVEON.ORG TAKES CREDIT FOR VIOLENCE IN CHICAGO
I have to disagree, I think Cruz is a pretty decent choice. He kept his promise to Texas, has defended the constitution and is far from political elite - I think he understands politics and knows how to play the game, doesn't make him part of the establishment. Just MHO(my humble opinion) so chase ...

Re: Americans killed by released Guantanamo Terrorists
It's nice to see that some people have actually thought about this problem and recognize that what's hyped in the media isn't necessarily aligned with real life risks. The REAL existential threat to the nation's future are the feckless, lying, evil, degenerate, crapulent, criminal, politicians that ...

Re: Americans killed by released Guantanamo Terrorists
Saying it another way: ISIS is not an existential threat to the United States. Your right, there may be limited success in killing US citizens, even on our own soil. I would not deny that or discount the impact on families that such tragedy touches. However, It's probably not possible to eliminate t...

Re: Americans killed by released Guantanamo Terrorists
There's always something to worry about. If what's on your radar is that you might get killed by some sub-set of the terrorists that were released from Guantanamo, I think that *statistically* your radar needs adjustment. It's simply a very unlikely scenario. I think that most of us are being manipu...

I noticed that stun guns were included by the SCOTUS. I was unaware that knives were considered arms. Did I miss something?

Re: Denied Rigth To Vote...For Carrying Pocket Knife
The firearm pre-emption and knife pre-emption says that they can't PASS LAWS (ordinances) making it ILLEGAL for CHL to carry, but what is your recourse if they physically prevent you from entering because you're carrying a pocket knife, or CCH? Lawsuit. If you've got a lot of time and spare change....

The OP said all cars were identical. This doesn't sound like "thugs" or gangs to me. They try to be as individualistic as possible in most cases. It sounds more like a professional protection detail of some sort. He didn't say where he was from but perhaps there was a national, state, or ...

Re: Americans killed by released Guantanamo Terrorists
Well, the good news is that you're much more likely to be killed by someone who served time in our prison system than someone that managed to get out of Guantanamo....

Eh... whatever, as we can't own the weaponized manned aircraft, not sure that I care.
