Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Trump continues to ...trump: Trump Ends Liberal Domination of 9th Circuit Appeals Court as Senate Confirms Lawrence Vandyke He hasn't flipped the 9th yet but with two more of Trump's nominees confirmed this week 13 of the 29 judges on the 9th have been appointed by Republican presidents. You always have the potential for squishiness, but this does make it much less likely that a 9th Circuit panel of 3 judges (which is how most of their appellate decisions are made) will have two or all three judges be leftish. Trump has seated more than 170 federal judges. MAGA 2020. To me, this is one of his greatest accomplishments. Packing the courts with conservative judges will help to slow down some of the leftist policies...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

https://apnews.com/bb81279725b6f810d5792502254f2f88 “We must act”. Trump impeachment charges brought to house. House to vote before Christmas in rush to get Trump impeached in last hope to have him not re-elected. Who stops the abuse of power of Congress, namely the democraps? Three years these scum have attacked the president. Coulsnt beat him election night. Couldn’t oust him through the Russia lies. Now they are doing this. For a person like me, that isn’t even a strong supporter of Trump due to his bumpstock ban, I’m highly motivated to vote for his re-election. Fed up with these pigs. Whether you like Trump or not, re-electing him just to watch the communists’ heads explode is worth it. Besides, re-electing him might give us a lot to do on the day after. It is true. Voting for Trump is now a great way to get back at the leftists. Maybe we will get lucky this time and they will leave the country...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

It was the Dim-o-craps that changed the rule back when Barry was president. They regretted it after Trump was elected. True, but that does not change the fact that what comes around goes around. What will be really interesting is when the Dums try to bring up that the nomination to supreme court should wait until after the elections. I hope Republicans laugh in their sorry faces. My understanding, and I could be wrong, was that the Democrats changed the nomination rules for everything other than SCOTUS and the Republicans changed it for that. But, as Crazy2medic said, there is truly little doubt that the Republicans will ram through the nomination over the Democrats objections. I was just pointing out that they will object for the same grounds the Republicans did and it would be unfair of the Republicans to complain about it. I think this is an example of how to grow the divide in the country, and it will hurt the country as a whole more than either party (hopefully) intends. I am not sure how much more the divide can grow. With the leftists making sordid attempts at over turning the 2016 election for the past three years and the whack job leftists attempting to destroy our country, it is about on the verge of total chaos as it is. To be honest, I am so fed up with the alphabet people expecting extra special rights above everyone else and the attempts at destroying free speech with labels, I am about ready to start busting some heads. I sure hope the Republicans force one through. Democrats be darned in my humble opinion. They are all out of their minds anyway...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

It is becoming obvious she is not gonna make it till the end of 2020. It will be interesting to see if leftists try to make us wait for new pick until after Trump is re-elected. The Republicans certainly can't complain if they try. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Wether she retires or dies in her robes, Trump will nominate her replacement and Mitch McConnell will push that through Senate Confirmation process over the top of Democrat objection!
