They are felonies then, that are misdemeanors now. Punishment and fines have changed too. There is a legal way to get things espunged, pardoned or ND (non-disclosed).

The old saying "don't do the crime if you can't do the time" was not talking about just jail time. Good luck

Re: New Year's Eve parties and open carry

While I do not plan to OC. Last week, I did tell my son that I was planning to watch the fireworks at home and at midnight I was going to tuck my shirt to the inside of my belt holster just because I legally can. Of course, no one will notice because they will be looking up at the fireworks. P.S. Ev...

Re: CHL am i in or out

I had a student ( he applied before class) with a similar question. I told him any arrest should have been noted and since they were minor offenses and a long time ago (at least 15 years) to go ahead and get records of the disposition of each case. He did and about 3 weeks later DPS asked for proof ...

We honor the miracle of our Lord's birth in this season. He had to be born as man, so He could defeat death. All this for everyone who accepts and believes, even though so few do.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Some pay double for accidental death.
That being said, I still say prayers for his family and loved ones.

Re: Belt Holster vs Paddle Holster

I asked the same question on another thread, not realizing that this one was already started. Reading through it, it sounds like nobody really knows for sure at this point whether or not a "belt holster" really needs to be on a belt or not. I guess the safe bet is to just wear a belt. My ...

Seems as if some folks wish to force other people to allow them to do what they want, even if it is on the other persons property. They seem to claim their rights supersedes the rights of other people's property ownership. Some even claim it is a right protected by the Constitution, without realizi...

Re: Changes in CHL vs. LTC test

Your instructor should go over everything that is required by the State, the class should take 4-6 hours not including shooting proficiency. If you listen and participate, you will do fine.
