They are felonies then, that are misdemeanors now. Punishment and fines have changed too. There is a legal way to get things espunged, pardoned or ND (non-disclosed).

Last week, I did tell my son that I was planning to watch the fireworks at home and at midnight I was going to tuck my shirt to the inside of my belt holster just because I legally can. I had a student ( he applied before class) with a similar question. I told him any arrest should have been noted and since they were minor offenses and a long time ago (at least 15 years) to go ahead and get records of the disposition of each case. He did and about 3 weeks later DPS asked for proof ...

I do not believe the company can prevent anyone, including employees, from carrying in their private vehicle in the employee or public parking lot. Unless, they qualify under one of the exceptions, detailed in the Law.

Your instructor should go over everything that is required by the State, the class should take 4-6 hours not including shooting proficiency. If you listen and participate, you will do fine.
