Are you talking about the Insight Gear M6 (link)? I've never seen/heard of a Streamlight with the M6 designation. If so then I agree, not a fan of the Insight stuff.

I bought a Streamlight laser/light combo, and never will again. The screws to sight in the laser are tapped in the plastic body, and stripped when I attempted to adjust them. I do not know if they still do this, but I volunteered to work when they were in Houston, and they appointed me as one of the firearms inspectors. Consequently, I had access to the show outside of regular hours. That is, no one was there except the people setting up their booths. It was a fantastic...
