I wonder how many CHL holders are on the task force.
It's definitely good that they are having an open forum. However, it sounds an awful lot like their plans have already been made.

Re: Bill Gates says that capitalism cannot save us from climate change
If Socialism is the only system that will work, then I invite Bill Gates to set aside $2 billion of his total $79.2 billion for 2015, so that his family can live comfortably for the rest of all their generations, and then GIVE the other $77.2 billion to government for the express purpose of develop...

Re: Printing question
Ahhh ok I got you. I know I'll have it next we for sure but I really hope it comes tomorrow or Monday. What is a Wally walk exactly My first armed outing was at Bass Pro, but I guess a lot of people over the years have used Wal-Mart to get comfortable carrying in public. Naturally, in rural countie...

I'm told that they were left behind by two men who were fleeing the scene. These gun owners are just a buncha two-bit bumpkins.

Re: My Application Status
It seems as though it's perfectly normal for them to have not linked your CHL 100 to your application before they begin processing. I had the same situation. I called on Monday of last week. They told me that it hadn't started processing yet. They said they had my fingerprints and they asked me when...

Re: The history of the 2nd Amendment
Thanks for this! This just made the 2nd Amendment so much easier to understand and defend. The argument that I have heard and read against the 2nd A is that in this day and age we don't need or have a militia, thus why do we need armed citizens if they can't or wouldn't ever form a militia. Clearly,...

Re: Can you still purchase a gun if you were denied a chl?
Well there isn't much of a loophole around here... it's hard to find pvt parties selling at our local gunshows. It's almost all dealers. That's my rub, they pitch is as all sales at a show are check free... which in reality, VERY FEW are. This, I think is appropriate. I don't see why gun shows shou...

Re: Can you still purchase a gun if you were denied a chl?
the way that I read the original question is this. "If I am currently able to fill out the 4473 form completely and honestly and pass the federal instant background check to purchase a firearm, but then am denied a CHL because of prescription medication for psychiatric treatment (I assume this ...

Re: "Waiting Room"
Have you called the DPS Regulatory Services Division? If there's nothing in your background to complicate the process then the background check will only take a day or two. I called last Monday and they flagged my file as ready to process, they ran the background check and I had my LTC on Saturday. ...
