Re: You aren't doing anything wrong if no one knows what you're doing.

Shot his hair right off! Seriously, things could have gone much worse - it appears there was no serious injury, for which I’m thankful. When the video began, I thought it was a guy shooting under RSO supervision. When they exchanged places and the second guy began shooting, I thought “Uh-oh, not a g...

Re: This Beretta is a Keeper

We long-time Beretta owners have known that all along. Naturally good triggers, reliable, and accurate. Wilson doesn't have to do much to them because they're really good right out of the box.

Re: Mass Shooting in Connecticut-THREAD NAME CHANGE

Here is another link to the story: https://www.personaldefenseworld.com/2021/07/remington-arms-sandy-hook/ Notice the "man card" mention--this is totally ridiculous. The case barely survived the Connecticut Supreme Court (4/3 ruling allowing it to proceed). It is the kind of case our Supr...

Re: First Texas Home

Congratulations!! Is your new home in the country or is this located inside a City limit or in an urban County that might be fussy? It's out in the country. Wild west rules... no rules. Beware. Texas counties have ordinances concerning wells, septic systems, hunting (less than 10 acres), etc. Check...

Re: TX: Dallas clerk charged with murder for shooting robbers at night

Not a residence. Theft (maybe even only a misdemeanor), not burglary or robbery. No fear of serious injury or death. Deadly force not justified.

Bad move by clerk.

If he was really serious about being a "real" Texan he would at least have been wearing cowboy boots with this feet on the desk.

Re: Tips on carrying in a swim suit???

Andy, I can think of nothing more stylish than a pair of rugby shorts (I wore number 10).
Forget all that concealment stuff - open carry is the only way to go in a swimsuit. Maybe a speargun, a la Lloyd Bridges.

Re: What Would You Do?

I don’t go to movie theaters. They’re way too expensive, both the movie and the concession. If there’s something I want to see, I can wait ‘til it’s available free.
Our BWW isn’t posted.

Re: Texas event becomes National Holiday today

Reconsidering, I think you’re right. Just like when the Army misappropriated the Field Artillery’s Caisson Song to become the Army Song. I was upset until I realized that the entire US Army now stands to attention when they hear 🎶And those caissons go rolling along!🎶. As they should. Nobody knows th...

If they all get the medal, it will mean absolutely nothing to those that may have actually done something courageous. It becomes just another “I was there” award. Same as a “participation trophy.”

Re: Texas event becomes National Holiday today

Yeah, but the Yankees’ll never celebrate the holiday properly. There’ll be BLM demonstrations and calls to end “systemic racism” and whatnot, but no real rejoicing of the new-found freedom in the spirit of 1865 Galveston. Juneteenth is a TEXAS holiday and for the nation to usurp the day is a real ex...

I’ve been a Navy Federal member a couple years and have never seen a 30.06, 30.07, or gunbuster sign. But I’ve visited the branches only here in El Paso. I can verify that they’re very friendly.

I do have a choice. My wife and I have our own business, Depending on my mood and the day's dress, I openly carry: Colt Commander .45 ACP Ruger Speed-Six .357 Magnum Beretta 92 Compact 9mm Beretta 84 .380 ACP Most people don't notice. Re: BLM Co Founder goes on real estate shopping spree

That’s how socialist leaders operate - enrich themselves and impoverish their minions. It’s no surprise that Putin, Castro, Maduro, et al, are the richest people in their bankrupt countries.
