Re: OR: 13 yo dies trying to save grandmother from wildfire

Why have the fires stopped before reaching the Canadian border? Could it be blue state management of forests or are they too, Trump's fault?

Re: OR: No place but Oregon

I’m originally from Portland and 52. I can remember protests and rioting clear back to a little kid. You automatically avoided downtown during elections and any special “green” day. I worked the summer of '62 on a brush/fire crew in the Malheur Forest and drove the Oregon coast in '09. Oregon does ...

Re: Duty to Provide LTC on Voluntary Identification to LEO?

Given today's state of the country, BLM bull, and the vicious anarchist left-wing dipocrap attacks on the POPO, I think I would have smilingly shown him both and asked him how I could help him......even if he was acting an arrogant ass. We either Back the Blue or we don't? They have enough problems/...

I'm usually wearing a belt when I'm out with my PB's. Airguns, maybe not so much.

Re: Hearing aid suggestions for my father.

I bought my first pair of Hearing Aids at Costco in Kalispell, MT for ~$2,000 in 2012, my second pair came from the Rockwall Costco in 2017 for $1,700. They have been serviced/adjusted all across the country since then and I'm okay with Costco's hearing aid testing, services and products. If you buy...

Yes, I'd seen that earlier on Facebook and I do agree with her.

Re: A generation that has never seen American prosperity

When I entered college in 1960, all males were required to take two years of R.O.T.C. If for some reason, you weren't qualified for R.O.T.C., you took two years of P.E.

BTW, there was a Military Draft back then as well. Just sayin'.....

Re: Kenosha Wisconsin Shooter discussion

How this plays out is going to be most interesting and will probably depend, in large part, on how the election plays out, you reckon?

Re: NJ: out of ammunition

It's not just PB ammo, airgun pellets have also gotten very scarce; e.g., none of the five Walmarts within 40 miles of me have any of the low priced, common everyday Crossman Premium HP pellets in stock.

Re: One song that "speaks" to you

"AMAZING GRACE" is the most beautiful song ever written and sung. The full choir of Christ the King, LCA, Lutheran Church in Hoover, AL sang it as my youngest son, Patrick Sheridan Neely, was rolled out of the sancuary on the day before Thanksgiving in 1981. That was a long time ago but, I...

Re: RV Road trip

I remember when Gatlinburg had only three Mom n' Pop 'tourist courts' and was as 'dry as a bone'....unless you knew one of the local moonshiners. Dolly Partain, was an unknown girl singer on the local grocer's TV show. It's way too touristy crowded now....for us. We've gone up and down the Natchez ...

Re: RV Road trip

We've gone up and down the Natchez Trace between Nashville and Natchez a couple of times. Vicksburg and Natchez have much history to share. You might want to visit them before the statues, monuments, etc. are torn down by the antifa and dipocraps?

If the photos are real, the shooter is an obvious racist and should also be charged with a hate crime.
