Unless something has changed this isn’t correct. Only way for an 18 y/o to get an LTC in Texas is if they’ve been honorably discharged from the military.

Re: Recommendations on where to buy a safe
I've never dealt with The Safe Company, though I have been in to their showroom a while back. I've been dealing with Michael's Lock and Key for years now and have made all my safe purchases through them. Jay Reed at the Colleyville location off of Hwy 26 is my go-to for anything I need here locally....

WTS/WTT: AMSEC Under-bed safe - $300 (W Fort Worth area)
Amsec under-bed safe. Features digital keypad and slide out drawer. Great for storage and to keep little fingers away from things. No scratches or dents, great condition, as new except for a little dust. Willing to entertain gun-related trades. Full specs can be seen here: https://www.safeandvaultst...

Re: How to move Gun safe
A valid point. That said it’s only coming through the slab near fixtures and even then it’s a vertical run. If you’ve drilling to bolt a safe down you shouldn’t have any issues with being near these pipes.GeekwithaGun wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 4:00 pm well, i suppose it is under, but does have to come up near some walls.

Through or under? I don’t know that I’ve seen pex run through a slab very often.GeekwithaGun wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 11:33 am We have PEX water lines running through the concrete slab and the post tension cables. There are some things to be mindful of.

Re: Stay Warm and Safe the Next Few Days
I have a better plan that doesn't include shoveling the drive way. My plan is to stay home until this mess goes back up North. :biggrinjester: That sounds like the best plan. If I didn’t have to head to work later I’d be doing the same. But with the promise of sunshine today I wanted to clear as mu...

Re: Stay Warm and Safe the Next Few Days
I just got in from about 45 mins of shoveling the driveway. Never would have thought that I would need to bring the snow shovel with us when we moved back from MO. Oh well. As long as you’re dressed appropriately it’s not too bad outside right now, very little wind. Having spent several winters in W...

Re: Stay Warm and Safe the Next Few Days
Well we’ve been off since about 2:15 this morning here in Willow Park (between Fort Worth and Weatherford). ONCOR app says 7am estimate to be restored. House is newer construction with spray foam so we’re holding temp ok for now. Though if it dips below about 55° inside I may turn the water off just...

Re: To NFA or not to NFA, that is the question
Outside of that, I kind of want to buy a Sandman S. Teraph Do it! That’s my most recent rifle can and it’s awesome. As for Form 1ing a couple cans I’d note that pistol and rimfire cans are more suited to this as the pressure involved is significantly less. Also, rimfire is so easy to suppress. Not ...

Re: To NFA or not to NFA, that is the question
The best time to file Form 1/4s is yesterday, second best is today. Haha Ok, that said yes, getting into the world of NFA firearms is always fun. If you have the ability to do so I’d say do it. The key is to file and forget about it. Once it’s approved you’ll get a random call to come pick up your n...
