Re: Dem for Sheriff says he has no problem killing legal gun owners
That will make a great tv spot come October. This ^^. Whoever is running against him should run that video over and over again..... “My opponent joked in a public forum about murdering innocent people who had broken no laws, for protecting that which they purchased legally from theft by law enforce...

Re: Tent Cities - I See Them Discussed More and More On TV
These people are in these cities because the city govt tolerates them and gives them free services. I really doubt the local politicians there will change their spots very soon. I am sure they don't live near where these homeless are staying.

Re: Throwing rocks is more effective than just crawling under desks and waiting
As I saw on another forum, we have new and more advanced rock throwers these days. They use lead since it is more dense and they use a combustible material in such a way as the rock throws itself. All one as to do is aim the device. I think allowing teachers to carry these advanced rock throwers wou...

IMO, you should also give the same discount for other organizations such as TSRA or other national gun rights organizations.

When you put your life in the hands of your attacker, that is not a good place to be. Concealed carry gives me options.ELB wrote:Ugh.
Be sure to follow the link and read the whole story. The two guys who ran lived. The two that cooperated did not.

I would have said that was an AR pistol, but that doesn't look like most pistol braces though it could be.howdy wrote:The barrel on that AR looks mighty short too.

Re: TX: Houston man murdered on street 24 rifle casings found at scene
What I saw looks like pistol caliber at the least so I guess my AR/AK idea might not be true unless it is a carbine or pistol type. They said they have video, but it didn't sound like they had video of the shooting. I guess we will see.

Re: TX: Houston man murdered on street 24 rifle casings found at scene
More fuel in the anti-gunners tanks. If they had video, I would agree. The visual of this caught on video wouldn't be good. Without that, 2 dozen shell cases doesn't really mean a whole lot and I don't see it going very far. Could have been 2 or 3 guys with Thompson Contenders for all we know, but ...

Re: Just shot the Rex Zero 1 compact for the first time
I tend to agree on the front/back grip. I never had any issue while shooting. It was more about handling of the pistol outside of shooting. Confidence that I can draw and such without losing grip.

Re: Just shot the Rex Zero 1 compact for the first time
I have the larger tactical model with threaded barrel. I recently got the Hogue G10 grips with checkering for it. IMO, the extra firmness of the grip makes a big difference. I didn't think the OEM grips were slick, but the extra friction of the Hogue grips feels better. I would recommend them to any...

Re: M&P 380 Shield EZ
I saw one at a local gun store/ range yesterday. It did seem easier to rack the slide. I guess I should have asked them to pull out the Walther PK380 and see if it was as easy as that. Seems like it had enough size to make it easier to shoot also. They had just received the pistol and hadn't priced ...

Re: Nervous about my proficiency test next week
I have a number pistols of various sizes and have shot most of my life. Even I don't like shooting my Ruger LCP and I am not sure how accurate I would be past 10 yards either. It is almost too small and the trigger pull on mine is a bit too long. It is okay as a close in defensive pistol, but I thin...
