Re: Armed AZ:citizen kills BG fighting with wounded Trooper
Did anybody read the AP's news bite about this situation? Check this out: "...Arizona has a "defense of third person" law that allows someone to use deadly force against another who is threatening or injuring a third person. It was not unusual that the passing driver was armed in thi...

I kind of like it. I'm not sure that it fixes anything for me, but for those folks that really like the 1911 trigger, it may have potential to get some of them. The wait will be on to see if the engineering is there to make it a success.

Re: Do you refuse to do business with 30.06 & 30.07 businesses?
30.06 - avoid 90% of the time 30.07 - I don't like it for those that prefer OC, but it doesn't disappoint me enough to avoid them. I am part of the "dress code" crowd. As far as I know, my sidearm has never given anyone reason to question whether or not I should be in a business regardless...

Re: Do you wear gloves when cleaning your guns?
Caveat: I rarely wear gloves but have on occasion, usually for the clean finger nail reason others have mentioned. Caveat: I also ask this as I realize it is probably silly not to wear gloves and I am considering stopping at Harbor Freight on the way home. While non-toxic cleaners are a good thing, ...

So you're demonstrating that Glocks tend to explode into pieces? :biggrinjester: Was this gun shooting ++P ammo? ++P+ handloads :biggrinjester: This is a completely unfair judgement of the Glock Practical Tactical weapons platform. The manual of arms clearly says, "We don't fully sup...

Re: Signs for the CHLer
If I see signs prohibiting carry, whether to the letter of the law or not, I do not carry into that establishment. I don't think it's worth the hassle. I believe that property owners should have the right to prohibit whatever they want, correct signage or not. See, that's the problem. We follow the...

Edna, first of all, I agree 100% with everyones' observation that this behavior was unsafe and uncalled for. And I think that you already see that. I'm just expressing a view about his carelessness. I would seriously question anyone that was flippant about gun safety. IMO, the way to make you feel s...

Re: Ruger 10/22 Takedown, who has one, and which version?
A Henry is definitely on my list. Not sure where, but it is there. I met one of the owners at the Houston NRA convention. Just super down to earth. And helped a buddy replace a stock on an AR7 that he admittedly messed up. They asked him to pay shipping. It is probably a cheaper part, all things sai...
