Re: Cities improperly posting 30.06 signs?
Dowell Middle School in McKinney has 30.06 and 30.07 signs posted at the main entrance to the building. I'm not sure if the signs violate SB 273 or not. I don't see any point in reporting them to the DA since they're not hurting anything; the school is already off-limits by statute. They technicall...

Re: Desantis Popup Holster for summer
I have a Sof-tuck for my LCP. It works well AIWB and IWB, though I still prefer my DeSantis Nemesis if I have the pocket space (or I know that I might have to disarm/rearm a couple of times).

DPS is probably looking at where (geographic location) you worked to make sure they ran you through all of the applicable databases in those counties too.

Re: Individual Civil Immunity
So how does CPRC 83.001 play with (or against) PC 9.06? PC §9.06. CIVIL REMEDIES UNAFFECTED. The fact that conduct is justified under this chapter does not abolish or impair any remedy for the conduct that is available in a civil suit. ( IANAL ) They are still able file a civil suit, but you cannot...

Re: "Waiting Room"
Finally got the, "agency letter" that the email from the DPS sent me. I needed to send in some extra documents and I did so last night. Immediately I received the email that the DPS received uploaded documents (I'm sure that is just an automated system). They have procedures that state th...
