Glad that Chelsea's sentence is being commuted. I don't think she's gotten fair treatment in the system.
Now only if we could get Snowden pardoned and drop charges on Assange.

Re: Courthouse carry legal?
I just got told by a county clerk deputy that you can legally carry in a courthouse in Texas with a CHL as long as it's concealed. Said a guy threatened to sue and the legislature changed the law allowing carry except in courtrooms. Is this true? I've lived away from Texas for a while. Working here...

A Californian, no less! Maybe if we let more Californians carry guns, more tragedies would be avoided.

And people wonder why I carry into the airport when I'm picking up family. Going to be carrying at AUS here in about an hour to pick up the MIL. There's no good reason not to carry in an airport where it's legal. In some states, including Florida, carrying into the airport is unlawful unless it's e...

Re: Bills to fix the private entity leasing a government building loophole
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I don't believe that the AG is saying the 30.06/30.07 signs are valid / enforceable under current law. I thought that he just said that there was no violation of the "fines for signs" law and did not opine on the legal enforceability of such signage. I...

Re: Meredith Vista Defends Texas Carry Law
Why is it so hard for people to realize that the open carry law had nothing to do with the campus carry law?Golodryga launched into a criticism of the new Texas open-carry law, fretting that it could prevent UT from attracting “students and the top talent in teaching for fear of this law.”

However, they might need to increase funding for that DPS department if they eliminate LTC fees. Sorry, I didn't word that very well, I kn...
