Re: Looking for hunting round in .308 or 7.62x51

Sorry for the left turn. Now, it looks like I'm going to be able to use the rifle I'm the best shot with that is also suitable for hunting deer. This got me to considering whether or not the ammo I have is suitable for this task. I have 175gr Sierra Match King 7.62x51. It is a hollow point, so I'm ...

Re: debate = BUY SUPPLIES!

Here’s all I care about: getting ACB confirmed before January. If McConnell can’t get that done, then Trump's 2nd term—IF. HE. IS. RE-ELECTED.—will be a failed presidency, and the GOP will be to blame. EVERYTHING is riding on that. I can't agree more. I was, as many recall, a critic of the way McCo...

Re: Corona Virus (COVID-19)( SARS-CoV-2) from China: Its going to be bad.

Annual deaths in America down for the year so far. That may be the trend, but that's probably not going to be the case based on the distribution of deaths throughout the year. Basically more people die during the colder weather than the warmer weather. From whatever little statistics I can pull up,...

Re: debate = BUY SUPPLIES!

Yeah, that was pretty awful by everyone. Trump was literally handed several silver platters, but he just knocked them away. He could have literally mic dropped some debating points with some short, simple sentences, but no. He just went on with something else like an ADHD kid. I was not surprised by...

Re: Ruth Bader Ginsberg - dies 9.18.2020

Let's not forget that the dems can stack the supreme court if they win. This event cannot have happened at a worse time politically. I am still unswayed with taking the high road, though. It is seemingly the best political move as well as the more scrupulous route. It seems like it's not going to ha...

Re: Ruth Bader Ginsberg - dies 9.18.2020

After reading all of your responses, I totally understand the sentiment. I would love to play offense and smack down the liberals once and for all. It may seem very tempting, but it's the wrong choice to make in my opinion. Getting someone appointed to the vacant seat between now and the election is...

Re: Ruth Bader Ginsberg - dies 9.18.2020

I have a problem with the hypocrisy that would be shown if they do make a nomination now. The Republicans held up a nomination for quite a long time because an election was close and they wanted to let the new president have a say (well, that was their stated reason). If they do a nomination this c...

Re: Ginsburg has died

RIP. I may not have liked her politics, but I do have to pay respects where respect is due. Condolences to everyone affected by her passing. As for business, November turned really important on the federal side of things. Considering the stunt that was pulled back in 2016 with the whole senate not v...

Re: Who's running a dot on their pistol?

I have a Vortex on my FNX-45, and I like it. It is very different than using irons, but I can see where it will benefit over using irons. I was just shooting that along with the Beretta M9 with irons. Here are my thoughts. The RDS will definitely get you better groups. The dot does a pretty good job...

:iagree:

I always have a TQ on my person as well as in the car kit. It may look a bit goofy, but better safe than sorry.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XggbLjUkXLk&feature=youtu.be FYI for those on a mobile device or anything with a single speaker setup, one of the channels is 180 degrees out of phase with the other channel. This causes an interesting effect of depth on stereo speakers and garbled to no audio on...

Re: GL.iNet GL-MT300N V2 smart router

Couple questions. Are you using the right port? And is this a user-locked profile or the server profile? I haven't used that router before, but the type of profile you import may make a difference to it. Oh, and last super silly question, but I gotta ask. Did you get the hostname right? It actually ...

https://time.com/5886348/report-peaceful-protests/ Time says 93% of protests are peaceful. That means 7% are not. Over 99% of police interactions conclude peacefully. Less than 1% do not. It seems like Time literally just confirmed that hanging out with the police is at least 7x safer than hanging o...

Re: what to build next

I really like my 300 BLK for the suppressed stuffs. Makes it really nice and quiet with some umph behind the bullet. :iagree: It's a great round if you reload. I use Sierra MKs for my mine. Otherwise, ammo isn't exactly scarce for it. Regardless, it's a great, practical option. If you want to have ...
