Re: New Suppressor Law = No Good

Could you not build your own suppressor and it be legal? Under the current state of federal law, anything which might affect interstate commerce can be regulated. The logic in the Wickard case was that his wheat was regulated, even though he grew it for his own personal use, because if he did not h...

Re: New Suppressor Law = No Good

I contacted a suppressor manufacturer. They said the new Texas law changes nothing because FFL's and SOT's still have to follow federal law. So, I suppose you could legally make your own suppressor, but you're not going to get around the ATF form or the $200 by going to the store and buying a suppr...

Yep Outstanding!

And there is much gnashing of teeth already!

Also, Governor signed HB 957 the Suppressor Freedom act. Now we just have to wait for the court case to settle it!

Re: Biometric Handgun Safe

I had one biometric handgun safe years ago but it was junk. If you hit it hard enough on the side the door would pop open. I threw it away. A good resource is youtubes famous Lock Picking Lawyer. The guy is unstoppable and has a razor sharp wit. He reviews a lot of handgun safes. He even demonstrate...

Re: ATF Released New Proposed Pistol Brace Rules

That is ridiculous. Lets see. I bought a nice little [url=https://ruger.com/products/22Charger/specSheets/4938.html}plinking pistol[/url] to help the kids with their fundamentals. It weighs less than 64 oz with the magazine and no other accessories - per my scale came in at 55.73. Add 9 oz and then...

Re: ATF Released New Proposed Pistol Brace Rules

This is some weapons grade stupidity here. Okay... so this is a two part test. If you score a 4 or higher on either step then boom you have an SBR and are a felon! You have to add up the points for each and every category that fits your weapon. eg if you have a split type stabilizer and it folds tha...

Seemed very odd that Amazon would do this with out sending me an email or something. After reading this thread I’m still confused. Do echos broadcast WiFi now? I thought they just received. Considering how poorly my super fancy four antenna hyper powerful expensive xyzgh band 5.1 2.9 WiFi router fa...
