Re: What really goes on?
"having worked with bureaucracies in the past"... This is why u don't work there any more. Your work ethic was to productive, work got completed ahead of schedule and under budget, the department lost funding for the next year and you were FIRED for raining on their parade. (I jest) Actua...

Re: What really goes on?
As near as I can tell from having worked with bureaucracies in the past it goes something like this: 1) Work with application A until a "stop" is reached. A "stop" is defined as anything that requires either input from elsewhere (e.g. - a background check) or a hold on the applic...

Re: Handwriting On The Wall
Did they have other plates for other religions? Did they have one with a Star of David for Jews, or a crescent moon for Muslims? Were those also outlawed? If the state ONLY had a plate depicting a cross as an option, I would agree with the ruling. If they have other religious plates as an option, a...

You are correct that the link is not to Guns Galore in Killeen. The correct link is http://www.gunsgalorellc.com/.joe817 wrote:The link posted is in Finton, MI. I thought he bought the FN in Killeen? Different company perhaps?
But that's a HUGE gun store to be sure!

Re: Are there any legal postings to stop solicitors at your home
That is where I open the door with my pistol in its holster, look at the interloper, look at the sign, and carefully shut the door without a word. Purplehood, I hear ya... I wonder though... could that solicitor call the cops on you for displaying/flashing your firearm? Even if you are wearing your...

I agree with the court. There is nothing to stop you from putting a big sticker of a cross on your car. No need to do it on a state license plate which might imply to some that a particular religion is state-supported. Keep the government on your license plate and the religion on your bumper-sticke...

Re: Gov't to take over banks????
It seems unlikely to me that the Feds will be forced to nationalize the biggest banks despite that they continue to engage in the same types of activities that caused the crisis in September 2008. Why shouldn't they continue their irresponsible ways? After all, when they almost crashed the entire sy...

Re: Firearm in a state park?
CHL holders are not prohibited from carrying in state parks. got a link to that law? The law lists was IS prohibited, not what isn't. No laws say that state parks are off limits to CHLers carrying firearms, therefore it is legal. It doesnt say unlawful carry, it says possession. I was assume that t...

Re: US Military replaced the 1911 with M9 Beretta. Why?
I know btter than to jump into this fray, but what the heck. No one intends to to go to war and hever have to use their sidearm. It is mostly a weapon of last resort. The 1911 issue was flawed. Sorry 1911 fans but the 1911 just like every otther gun isn't p[erfect.. 1st of all it had a reputation i...
