Re: Police, lawyers decry 'unknowns' of open carry law

They (cities and counties) should hope that they interpret it as the law is written, unless they
have very deep pockets.

Re: CHL & Your Church

I agree, i won't change his opinion, just as he won't change mine. Let sleeping dogs lie..right? I do not feel his comment of not feeling it necessary was by any means a directive to me to not carry. I would love to see a more proactive approach, considering that may not happen. I'll keep my intent...

Not mine; we're at the other end of the spectrum. Our church held a CHL class, that's where I got mine.
That's great! :thumbs2:

Re: CHL & Your Church

I am blessed at my church every Sunday and Wednesday. I look forward to going. Been attending for several years. I have never once spoken with anyone about my chl or that I carry everywhere it is legal. I carry at church since it isn't posted. I don't see any need to discuss my carrying with a past...

Re: CHL & Your Church

Discussed CHL and consealed carry at Church with my pastor. He had no intrest in it and said he didnt think it is necessary. I expalined my position and he still didn't think it was prudent. Any suggestions? I of course feel very strongly about it, religious groups are a target and the threats will...

Re: CHL & Your Church

As long as the church does not post 30.06, you can still carry. concealed is concealed. That is unless the pastor stated he did not want you carrying there. If he stated that, then you have been given effective notice and it would be a violation to carry in the church. He did not specify say he did...

Re: CHL & Your Church

I have my CHL, my purpose was to see if the Church allowed it( could have been in a policy statement Or a by law I may not have received) I understand that if not posted I could carry consealed. I asked out of respect of the church. I'd rather be asked to leave the church than leave myself and famil...

He has until about Wednesday by my figures to do so, or it would become law without his signature.
I'm thinking we will see a big media event soon and he will sign them all. :txflag:

Re: Fox News report on Texas OC

:iagree: There are no legitimate news sources, if by legitimate you mean anything that is part of the MSM, and believe telling the truth is part of delivering news. Fox is just slightly less intolerable than the rest of them. I don't usually watch any of them....my brain and stomach can't bear it......

Re: Fox News report on Texas OC

This report must have come from the left side
of the Fox News office. The Wild West comments
are crazy. Don't they realize Texas has had law abiding
gun owners carrying for 20 years.
