Re: Camo Wrapped Shotguns - Do they hold up?
I'm not worried about the "looks" of the finish. But if the camo comes off due to wear, then it kind of defeats part of the purpose of the wrap.

Camo Wrapped Shotguns - Do they hold up?
I'm in the market for a new shotgun. It's going to take a lot of abuse. It will get dirty, and wet, ride in a gun rack in a UTV, and sometimes a boat. I was considering stainless until I started looking at some of the camo wrapped guns. Has anyone here had one for a while that's been out hunting wit...

Re: 51% Sign Posted, but TABC License calls for Blue Sign
If the sign was supposed to be a BLUE sign (i.e. the license issued for <51%) from the beginning and TABC, said to post a RED, then the removal of the sign is not making, it legal to carry. It was always legal to carry, they just eliminated the sign saying that it was... :biggrinjester: You are cor...

Re: 51% Sign Posted, but TABC License calls for Blue Sign
This post stayed idle for 4 months. I brought it back to life with an update to report that another sign had come down, and it was now legal for license holders to carry in another business. But, the comments that have been added since my report are just continuing an argument about the TABC. I gue...

Re: New Member asking for a general ltc holder's opinion
Owners can always grant permission for anyone to carry past their 30.06/30.07 signs. 30.06/30.07 don't cause additional charges against someone unless that person has an LTC. LTC holders are the least likely of people to be committing crimes. To post these signs for that reason is stupid . Maybe no...

Re: New Member asking for a general ltc holder's opinion
Would the owner need a written document stating for the employees that it is okay to carry within the premises? just in case the owner dies so the DA won't prosecute them? I am not a lawyer, but I would think it would be up to the DA, and every DA would not decide the same way. I will say that I wa...

Re: 51% Sign Posted, but TABC License calls for Blue Sign
It took from August 10 until this week, that's 4 months, but now a friend just told me they have blue TABC signs in several locations and the 51% sign is gone! I guess the TABC complaint worked, but it sure took a while. Now I will be able to take the wife back in there to eat.

Re: The Progressive-State Depression
I don't mind people migrating to Texas to build a better life for themselves. My ancestors did the same thing back in the 1800's. BUT, when they try to turn Texas into what they left behind that is just dumb. This article explains why.

Re: Realization comes home - always carry. Even at home.
There is a couple of times when I don't wear a gun. Shower, and the bed. Even then they are very close by. I posted a question or a poll about this a few months ago but I can't find the topic. I do remember that most of the members here said they carry at home. My opinion is seconds can be very impo...

Re: No longer in the system
Something doesn't add up here. If the system didn't recognize you, how could it lock you out? Sounds more like a password problem than a lack of an account problem.fr0van wrote: Was no longer recognized by system. Kept trying to log in and am now locked out supposedly for 24 hours.

This is an example of the hate in the heart of liberals. If I had been on that flight, they would have hated me too!
