All done in plenty of time. Chas, get with me during this cycle about upcoming training. My department offers some great stuff in house.

Re: Ay HCSO Deputies Out There?
I have no personal experience. There was a large movement away from the Harris County Reserve program when he was elected. I was told Galveston County offers a great deal of freedom in comparison.

Re: Ay HCSO Deputies Out There?
HCSO require full TCLEOSE licensing and also will require you to work in the jail for a long time before you get to go on patrol. I don't know if they use that same rule for their reserves. Re: Best way to carry in hospital scrubs
I carried a Glock 26 in a Galco Ankle Glove for years while wearing scrubs. I never had a single problem with it and could get to it quickly after some practice.

Re: Dry Fire Training
I am also a big fan of dry fire. Light switches are a great target and can be found just about anywhere you go. If you can routinely get your front sight on top of a light switch from 7-10 yards, you will see great improvements in your shooting.

Re: Glock triggers?
My reset time average is about .22 tenths of a second but have seen .15 tenths capable from other glocks, this may sound trivial but I feel that it is worth the effort. Are you shooting from the reset position or allowing the trigger to travel all the way back forward? Is the .22 seconds the split ...

Re: LCP vs P238
I shot the little Sigs on three occasions and had constant malfunctions from each of them. To be fair..it was very early in their release. A combination of it being a new design and my absolute disgust for the 1911 platform was likely a bad combination. I have an LCP and carry it as a backup from ti...
