I'm taking my Mother to a show at the end of this month, and yes I also think it's just a way to skirt the law, but I doubt there will be any movement.
It is funny though, both names are the same... When u pay for concessions, it still says Majestic.

Re: OR: Woman comes home to find someone in bathroom
Not sure how the bathroom door got locked. Pretty sure it would only take a second to peek under the door and see what's going on. Hopefully she is elderly or at least half deaf so she has a good reason for not hearing the vacuum itself.

Re: Prohibiting signage at court houses
If you are in Texas, I can tell you that you will not get much help from the AG on this one. I tried. Your local county officials are just as antigun as mine, and mine all claim to be Republicans. It's sad really, but in my case Burnet County Officials believe that we as handgun licensed citizens, a...

Well if I am the one vote Trump loses by, I have no issue with that. If some people think that makes me an idiot, that's okay too. I doubt I will be solely responsible for the downfall of the GOP, that ship sailed years ago, and im as guilty as anyone else for voting for the "less bad" pa...

Re: GOA in court re bumpstock-ban - interesting
So, overnight many people I know became felons by doing absolutely nothing. And our current President has just earned the honor of ordering the forfeiture of more guns than any President in the history of our nation. I did vote for him, and I might do so again, and I'm sure Hillary would have done ...

Re: Electricity Providers
That sounds interesting. Unfortunately my electric provider is PEC, the largest electric co-op in the nation I think. They are not only anti gun and run by an anti-gun board (all buildings are posted) but they are exempt from competition. They just built a multimillion dollar office facility here th...

Re: Rodeo grounds
My advice is to write a letter of complaint to the Entity owning the property, also name the Rodeo folks and include in the letter that they are violating the law. I would also send copies to a few newspapers in case anyone cared. If that gets you no where, I would then post on the internet the peop...

Re: Climate Change: take my test
Climate change is real. The question of human impact has meant that nobody thinks about the future. Personally I don't think it really matters. While everyone argues about our impact on the planet, it is still happening. If the oceans rise 6 inches, regardless of why, and your house or business is l...

Re: GOA in court re bumpstock-ban - interesting
"Olson even cited the lack of FBI and ATF statements, studies or reports to demonstrate that there is no conclusive evidence that a bump stock was actually used by the Las Vegas shooter. This was something of a “mic drop” moment, because when given the chance to respond, the government’s lawye...

Re: HR 1263 Adds semiauto rifles and shotguns to NFA 1986
Unless somebody doesn't comply with NFA already, I'm skeptical they will start, no matter what other firearms fall under that unconstitutional un-law. :iagree: Non-compliance is a cowardly act in the absence of performing a patriot act. Can someone explain to me what those two statements are suppos...
