Re: Considering a Shield 9mm
As others have said, shield is an excellent gun. I’ve added the magguts +1 to the flush 7 rounder and the +2 to the 8 which gives you good capacity with a single stack, while not adding length to the grip. As far as aiwb holster, hard to beat mastermindtactics for the money. Includes a wedge and cla...

What do they charge for a transfer?
DFW shooting sports in Bedford does these for $10 for chl holders. Worth a few extra miles drive.

Re: Gen 5 Glock intitial impressions
Have almost 600 rounds through it and really like it a lot. If I have any complaint it's the ambi slide stop lever. It's not flush to the frame like the gen 4 and I have on a few occasions hit it with my support hand and it locked back prior to the last round. I have to be very aware of my grip. I a...

Re: Classy: University of Tampa Professor Says Texas Deserved a Hurricane Because The State Voted For Trump
The left is so far derrainged at this point, they would prefer the little pot bellied tin can dictator in N. Korea over Trump. Saidly the establishment GOP will try and get along with these type of lunatics instead of defeating them.

Re: Gen 5 Glock intitial impressions
Thanks for the review. My wife and I tried the new Gen 5 over the weekend. We thought the same thing, better trigger, seemed accurate out of the box, slide finish seems nice. She wants a 19, I am trying to figure out if it would be better to order it with the Ameriglo Operator sights from the facto...

Gen 5 Glock intitial impressions
Picked up the new gen 5 glock 19 this weekend and I have to say I'm really impressed with this gun. First off, not a fanboy by any means, (own way more sigs) but glock has improved this to be just about perfect out of the box. The trigger is excellent, not light, like say the PPQ but much smoother t...

Re: Recommendation on tactical training - DFW area
Guys at proactive defense are pretty good. Good range and quality training. Certainly worth taking a class Another group you should consider, especially getting into advanced training is Hardwired tactical shooting or HITS. Darryl Bolke and Wayne Dobbs are two very accomplished and highly respected ...

Re: Sig P320 as an EDC option
Congrats on your 320. I think it's an excellent carry option, now that you have the compact/carry you can always get the sc grip module for really good concealment. I have both the gg flat trigger and the apex trigger as well (the original that doesn't lighten the pull). I really like the apex at ha...

Re: SIG P320 Compact or Subcompact
Get the compact and then buy and subcompact grip module. That way you'll have the option of better concealment with the sc grip module but also have the compact option as well. The compact will provide you with better options from the modularity standpoint.

Re: History of the Mozambique Drill
I just completed a 2 day pistol course from Wayne Dobbs & Darryl Bolke who both are long term veterans of the LE and each have over 20 years of training both civilians and LE in tactics. The Failure drill was emphasized strongly. As Charles said, it was two shots to center mass with a very sligh...

Looking for a good company in DFW that does glock trigger undercut work.
As the title states, I am looking for any suggestions for a company located in the DFW area that does trigger guard undercut work on glocks. I know I can take a dremel to it myself but if you new my abilities in that area you probably wouldn't suggest that. I am willing to pay a reasonable price for...

Re: Time for a Shield!
Picked one up today for grabagun for $315 + tax. $265 after rebate. No shipping or FFL charge. Kinda hard to beat for a decent little single stack. GaG was packed today, shields were flying off their shelves. Guy in front picked up 5 and the next guy got one and then me. Guy at the counter said they...
