Re: Remington Auctioned Off

The Remington branded firearms division appears to have been won by someone else. I'm excited to see what Ruger does with Marlin.

Looks like PSA has some big plans picking up DPMS, Storm lake, H&R, AAC and more.

Re: Report expired paper tags

Paper tags are a cottage industry in my neck of the woods. There was an "electronics" shop in the warehouse center where my brother had his studio that issued paper tags to any one who came in. There was always a pile of expired metal plates in front of the place. Paper tags are also used...

Re: Ruth Bader Ginsberg - dies 9.18.2020

That is well argued, Steve. I don't quite agree but you've given me much to think about. My take is this: In at least my life time, Republicans have always tried to play the nice guy only to get continuously punched in the mouth. They squandered a majority in both houses while holding the Presidency...

Re: TX: Harris County judge indicted by Feds

So how much time was served? I need to know, because it may impact my decision to commit embezzlement. Well, my Google Fu there is weak today. But in looking for that, I turned up this tidbit: https://www.click2houston.com/news/local/2020/08/13/former-harris-county-judge-indicted-on-wire-...

Re: Helping to keep Texas #1

Very nice! I need to bite the bullet and buy a .22 Suppressor. If I had done that a year ago I would have it already. I guess I'm having a really hard time coming to grips with the fact that I need to pay the Feds $200 and then wait almost a year for permission to own a tube of metal that isn'...

I saw the lawsuit today too! Here's the actual suit: https://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/GunSignsTexas-COMPLAINT.pdf I suspect my team and the LTC community must be doing something right if we are so prominently listed in the text of the case :tiphat: Capture.PNG Also confirms...

I think hearing the screaming and crying of my friend's mother when we visited the site where he took his own life will forever haunt me.

If you call the police, it seems to generally end bad.
I think you're unfairly making this statement based on a few, high profile incidents. The police may not be the right answer in all situations but that's still quite a leap.

Wow quite a collection of pre-Alzheimer's footage of Joe on that site... except for the quick [post hair sniff] hug of he and harris. And that is is official campaign site. His campaign wants the antifa vote. I know a little bit about DNS, I don't think this is a mistake. I know a little bit about ...

I was asking the question as a way to point out that the unsupported cases was not an issue with the 9mm pistols. ;-)

Re: Glock P80

It's made for the retro market, same as all of the retro ARs which have been quite popular.

And wasn't the unsupported case problems an issue with the Glock 22s?

Re: Corona Virus (COVID-19)( SARS-CoV-2) from China: Its going to be bad.

And I'm not quite sure what the hullabaloo is from Fox News or any other sources, really. From what I have seen, the hullabaloo recently is about how to define a COVID death and the way CDC reports it. The CDC recently reported that 94% of the people who had died from COVID also had some co-morbidi...
