Re: CHL and City/Community Parks

It's not generally illegal to carry a shotgun or AK in public. Sure, but like I said Handgun. Sure, but like the original poster said, Firearm. I will be attending a family function at a community park. Just read there rules and one of them says "Fire Arms are strictly prohibited on park prope...

Re: Shooting In San Angelo....Interesting Turn of Events...

Okay, two undercover cops at a storage facility that has had reported recent break-in. They notice the gate has been tampered with and they see a car that doesn't belong there. There car tries to run over one of the cops and he fires at the vehicle to stop the threat. The fact is, we don't know wha...

At work. At home. At the movie theater. Carry everywhere. If I'm wearing pants, I have a gun on the belt or in a pocket. Well...except for jury duty.

Re: Let's BAN Guns

Any politician who is serious should start with their bodyguards. Easy. 1-2-3. No laws required. The next step is banning guns and body armor for the police and military and other public servants. Give that experiment a few decades and then we can look at the results and talk about private citizens....

Re: Gunfire during Dark Night Rises

Someone needs to follow the money. Where did this unemployed kid get the funds to purchase multiple weapons, ammo, body armor, riot helmit, gas mask, neck and groin protector, and sophisticated bomb making materials? Based on what we know, it's possible he got everything from Holder and Obama. Not ...

Re: It seems I am a drug abuser.

Tobacco is legal but so is alcohol and there are people who are addicted to each. For people who aren't addicts, it's a judgement call where frequest using crosses the line to abusing. If the drug use reaches the point where it causes easily observed damage to the body, I can't fault a doctor for ca...

Re: Are you required to inform you're CCW?

1st scenario: You walk into a place of business. There's no 30-06 sign. A security guard sees a slight bulge in your pocket or under your tropical shirt. "Uh, sir? Are you carrying a concealed weapon?" Are you required to answer? If you are CCW, are you committing an offense by saying &qu...
