Re: City of Houston ordinance to force 30.06 signs?
If there was actually an ordinance it would violate the state pre-emption law and would be void anyway.

Re: Slugs and Choke Size
This is for a smooth barrel non-rifled slug barrel. You will need to use an Improved Cylinder choke. Any of the tighter chokes will have too much constriction. I don't know what type of negative long term effects can occur from using a tighter choke but I do know a tighter choke will not be as accur...

Re: Two more steps in the right direction
I agree that this is positive and also agree on the changes needed in Texas. Simple Texas change would be to eliminate the signage sections from 30.06 and 30.07. Businesses can ask anyone to leave, for any reason (other than protected classes), and if that person doesn't leave, they are trespassing...

Two more steps in the right direction
This week Idaho and Mississippi passed Constitutional Carry. Idaho is keeping the option to get a CWP so you can carry in other states and on college campus. I don't know all of the details for MS. http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/03/28/idaho-governor-signs-concealed-carry-bill/ http://b...

Re: Confused?
Do you use a locker at the gym? If so while you're still in your vehicle move your pistol into one of those pistol vaults and lock it and put it in your gym bag. Leave your bag in a locked locker. At this point I would consider this as transporting and not CC since its not readily accessible. If I d...

If I don't recognize you I don't answer the door. Same thing with the phone if I don't recognize the number I don't answer it. If it's important they'll leave a message.

I wouldn't say or do anything. If he's just there not threatening anyone why stir something up. One of the problems with the world today is people don't mind their own business.

Re: Which pocket do you carry your wallet in?
When I carry a wallet (rarely) or my ID holder with cards and ID they go in my front pockets. Keys and phone go in the front pockets to. If I have something bulky I have cargo pants so that takes care of that. Between security and having had back surgery about 20 years ago I don't put anything in my...
