Heat and gasoline
I had cause to review my 2017 book, "The Funny Thing About Bladder Cancer" today. It related to events that took place in 2011. I found this passage interesting: I'd made the Seventy-four mile trip on this hundred-and- five-degree day by motorcycle. I had several reasons for that. One was ...

Re: Prayers needed
Folks all I can say is God is good. One day they said she had cancer, today test results came back that it’s not cancer! She’s still not out of the woods yet as I’m fairly certain it will have to be removed. But the cancer part is a relief Praise the lord. Maybe was cancerous, maybe it wasn't, but ...

Don't forgot Texas is permitless carry too. Yeah, here's where I get confused. I have a Security Level III license. According to that license, my side arm must be visible. I also have an LTC (Previously a LG L) Here is my understanding. I can only carry under the authority of one license at at time...

Re: Global Warming/Global Cooling/Climate Change
Steve, This Global Warming/Global Cooling/Climate Change is a bunch of nonsense. Do a search on You Tube for Dr. Steven Koonin. Look for the interview with John Anderson and the presentation from the Steamboat Institute Energy and Climate Policy Summit in March 2022. The short of it is that he went...

Re: The Physics of Freedom
The Physics of Freedom is a new way to look at the idea of freedom from a scientific perspective. The Physics Law Behind Any Successful System I'm not sure if the author has this down exactly right. He talks about freedom of "flow" but not in terms of rights such as self-preservation... b...

Re: Uh-oh.... another ugly trend
I've posted similar replies in the past, but I'll post it again on this one. Every time I read one of these posts, I'm glad I live way out in the middle of flyover country. Sometimes I miss the amenities of living in a more populated area, but then again, where I live, the stuff those leftist terro...

Re: Former Japanese PM Abe Shot Dead During Speech
An American friend of mine was shot in London after a pub brawl by a thug armed with a very similar weapon. Very fortunately, he was running away from the fight and was wearing a very heavy leather coat, and had opened up enough distance that the shot never broke any skin. It just left him with a n...

Re: Former Japanese PM Abe Shot Dead During Speech
ShotGun.png From a Facebook page I follow. Supposedly the home made shotgun used to kill the PM. Yes. Metal tubes, duck tape, wood... probably black power, judging by all the smoke. On another forum I belong too, somebody posted a better side shot of it. It had a pistol grip and what looked like ba...

He is just the best President, he is almost as good as Jinny Carter. Ok Jimmy Carter was a lot better, but Brandon only has had 18 months. Brandon makes me miss Jimmy... and that's saying something At least the long lines at the filling stations haven't happened (yet). Oh that was an awful time. I ...

Re: Biden's Porous Border Killed More People Today Than the Last 10 U.S. Mass Shootings Combined
Death toll now at 51, with some survivors still in critical condition. The tally is 39 men and 12 women, but I've seen no information about ages. We know four of the survivors are children, so it seems probable that some of the dead are, as well. My prayers are with their souls and their families. ...
