Unfortunately for me, no carrying at work (or between work and home). All weapons are banned both in the building and in the parking lots due to multiple levels of bureaucracy. Gotta love it.
At least I'm allowed to carry my pocket knife.

Re: BBC's "The End of Cash". Pros & cons of ending cash.
I rarely use cash. Go to the post office and buy stamps. Do you get a discount paying by cash? No. But you do get cash back using your credit card. I get a hefty cash back on my spending by paying with credit card and paying off my credit card each month. There are very few places where using a cre...

Notice that the last line on the shirt is "I God We Trust". A great shirt, with a typo.

Further clarification from a Missouri spokesperson: "Our program’s policy does not prohibit players from legally owning guns..... https://twitter.com/matthewcstevens Other than the coach misspeaking about MU's policy - not a story. May be a MUCH bigger story than you think... http://www.montgo...

This is where the Fort Worth police academy is located, I would say you can't carry there.

When I took my class 4 years ago I was amazed at the number of people that needed to borrow a gun. My wife took the class with me and didn't have a pistol, so we shared my pistol and shot in different rounds. To this day, she has yet to carry even once. You really should already have a pistol before...

Re: To Campus Carry or Not To Carry - Thoughts?
Could a private university be considered the same as an employer? To my understanding, a business does not have to post a 30.06 sign to prevent employees from carrying. This would definitely translate to private university faculty and staff and could also be argued that due to the nature of universi...

An article that is positive toward CHL actually made it onto Yahoo: https://www.yahoo.com/news/m/01e23c50-e463-3b20-9b31-f0034132c2d4/report-finds-these-gun-owners.html Granted, the Yahoo page is just the first paragraph and links to another website; I'm really surprised this made it to Yahoo's home...

The Taco Cabana near me has a little sign on the door just politely asking that their patrons not carry openly. No 30.07 or other signage, so there is no legal effect for missing it. Though I open carry much of the time now, I have no problem with this approach. I've seen similar signs a Pollo Trop...

+1 on M&P9c. I typically carry a Shield 40 but have a M&P9c I carry sometimes. I much prefer the M&P9c, but I typically carry the Shield 40 because it's smaller.

Each airline can have different rules, but most are separate, locked, hard-sided container inside of your checked bag. The Amazon link you had will work and is what I will probably use next time I check a gun. Last time I used a small, hard plastic case with a padlock on it and had no problems. You ...

My favorite movie of all-time hasn't come out yet. You think you can make it come quicker? Although I have to say, I don't think it's one I even want to watch. It's going to one I'm thrilled exists, but just don't want to watch or hear the main actor.

I stay at IHG hotels a lot. I've never seen a sign posted. I've seen when making a reservation it says no guns, but no signs posted at the hotel. Since most (if not all) IHG hotels are independently owned, IHG itself has no rules regarding guns and leave it up to the individual hotels.

When you move, you need to change your address with DPS. Your LTC will become a non-resident license. Make sure when you check reciprocity, that you check it against a non-resident license. Some states (Florida did at one point and may still) have different reciprocity rules based off of whether yo...
