Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Happy one year President Trump. Your tolerance and fortitude are remarkable. Better men would have folded and resigned with the onslaught you have had to endure. How none of what he has gone through has not changed Trump is unthinkable. He has really shown how the elite think of us and how both parties in control are more worried about control and money than doing the right thing for the country. Not 1 dem voted to lower taxes, that should be beat into the ground during mid terms. Dems shut the government down for illegal immigrants over doing what is right for the country. The dems were the ones along with some republican elite colluding with the Ruskies. The media as a collective are a bunch of liars and their agenda is front and center now thanks to Trump. The last few months the republicans have grown some what of a spine and are actually pushing back against the dems but they still stink like a bag of sweaty socks. Trump is the first presidential vote I am not ashamed to have cast. I still think he's a goober sometimes but I'm glad he's our goober. It's refreshing to have a president that loves the country...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Enjoy your Brawndo! It's got electrolytes! You want to put water on the plants? Like from the toilet? The problem with politics currently is the republicans want to legislate morality, the dems want to force immorality on everyone through legislation, and the libertarians have too many morals to get dem support and too much immorality for republican supporting voters. If the libertarians could actually get a candidate to articulate that government should not be in any of our personal lives, they might have a chance. Keep putting up the kooky candidates they have the last few elections, and they will remain a joke even if the other 2 parties are a joke as well. Gary Johnson was a joke of a candidate, I was going to vote for him until he started talking, lol Sometimes yes, Trump is a buffoon but hopefully his buffoonery opens the eyes to the public that the media has an agenda. He has done more good for the country in his first year than I thought he would get done in his first term. I like the fact that he will stand up for himself and his country and that is more than can be said about the last 2 presidents...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Whatever the tax rates are changed to, there will never be enough money for the feds until they stop funding programs that don't work or should be in the private sector, cut the spending and reduce the federal workforce, starting with the IRS. This right here is the problem. At least the last 2 quarters record taxes have been collected. There is not a problem with the amount of money going to the government, there is a problem with government spending...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Obamacare repeal (in any form) is dead http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/342447-two-more-gop-senators-defect-on-healthcare-bill It's going to be an interesting mid-term election. Hopefully it's taken care of in the primaries. How many repeal votes did the Republicans have knowing the previous president would not sign or veto the bill? Now that there is a president that will sign a repeal, they are afraid of being labelled as cold hearted or they really do not want it repealed. I'm thinking the latter...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Other than the trillion dollar infrastructure spending and the big government style child care statement, this speech was very refreshing. I was too young to remember Regan but this was the most pro American speech I think I have ever heard from a president. This was by far Trump's best speech. There's not much the dems can argue with about this and with some actual results, they are going to be in trouble come mid terms...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

I'm glad to see the dems are showing what petulant punks they really are. On the flipside, it's a shame our country has drawn such a divisive party line in the sand. It has become all about party and little to do with the country. I thought they were sitting on their hands until I saw the 2 women giving a thumbs down and laughing like they were in junior high...
