Re: Best Pocket Gun
I've had a Kahr PM9 for about two years, and, I absolutely love it. Wasn't always that way, though. It had some issues during the break-in period, i..e. random failure to fire and fully return to battery...little bit aggravating. I telephoned Kahr and received an authorization to return it for servi...

Tucker Gunleather sells the Heritage IWB. Various clips are available. Turnaround time is quoted as being about a month. Here is the website: http://rlcompanyusa.stores.yahoo.net/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Or just type Tucker Gunleather.com into your browser....

Re: Clean a holster?
I guess I should've been more specific. I have a leather holster...OWB. It's pretty hot and dry around here. I'm not sure that it truly needs cleaning...just kinda' thinking about how to keep it in as good as condition as is possible. Thanks
Thanks for your input, WEC and Mike1951.

Clean a holster?
Hi Forum...help me out? Should the inside of a holster be periodically cleaned? If so, any special product recommended? Thanks.

Re: Ammo Shortage?
The Wally Worlds here in Wichita Falls are the same way, and, it's been that way for over a month. Update: Yesterday(2-9-09), my closest local WalMart received a 7000rd shipment of WWB 9mm. I got to the store @ 10:00 a.m. and bought 1000rds...the remaining sold out before noon. They still have WWB ....

Magazine followers
Hi Forum...
I need some info...school me, okay? I'm looking at magazines for my Kimber UCDP ll. Can't seem to find much information comparing/contrasting magazine followers, i.e. the flex type vs the hybrid type. I will appreciate your comments, experiences, observations, etc.
Thanks

Re: Mill the front sight?
Thanks for the replies. Not spending any more money on a gun that I'll probably not keep makes sense, MoJo. I appreciate the shooting tips, shootthesheet. I may try them and see if it makes a difference. But, I've pretty much made up my mind to sell/trade it anyway...might help finance a 1911.

Mill the front sight?
Hi Forum...what's recommended? I have a Beretta Tomcat Inox that I plan to either sell or trade. But, it shoots low. My gunsmith said that he could mill the front sight, but, doing that might lower the pistol's value. So, do I have the sight milled, sell the gun "as-is", or what? Thanks fo...

FWIW, I emailed Kimber Arms concerning the ETM for Officer model 1911's. Those will become available sometime in 2009.

Texas concho on holster
Hi Forum, I'm in the market for a holster, and, I'm looking at Tucker Gunleather. I'm kinda thinking about having a Texas concho added to the holster. I have a concern, though. General consensus is not favorable relative to CHL badges. Same true for a Texas concho on a holster? Thanks for all feedback

Re: Kimber compact cdp
Thank you Cosmo 9 and Charles L. Cotton. It appears as though I too, should be able to handle the UC II. I've been browsing various websites/gun dealers. Anybody have feedback relative to Bud's Guns? They quoted me an attractive price, provide free shipping, and charge no sales tax. Thanks.
