Re: Texas3006.com T-Shirt Giveaway!
I bought a "blue lives matter" t-shirt on Cafe Press.
I'd like to buy a Texas3006.com shirt, since I never win these contests.

Re: Texas3006.com T-Shirt Giveaway!
I want a shirt but don't do Twitter or Facebook. How about extra chances for every post made on the 3006.com app?

Re: Texas's Longest Serving Governor Will Be...on Dancing with the Stars
Now, I would definitely support Perry over Cornyn, but Perry over Cruz would be a step in the wrong direction. I agree. Like many on this forum was a big Cruz supporter. Will have to rethink my support when he runs for Senate reelection. Pretty much just tolerated Cornyn. My view was partially tain...

Re: TOWN HALL: Campus Carry Monday August 29th 6 to 7 p.m
I'm watching on-line. Impressed with how logical and well spoken Harkins, Cargill, and Roland are and how hand wringing the other two are. Haven't listened the entire time but want to ask "after 20 years of licensed carry in Texas with such a great track record, why do you think any of that is ...

Re: Hand-held flashlight?
I have several Fenix PD35s. Think they are closer to $70 though. The button is on the end but the intensity button (5 levels) is on the body. I align the clip with this button so I can get to it quickly by feel. Carry one every day in the belt holster. Also have Streamlight and Surefire but this is ...

I built this bookcase several years ago. False fronts on both sides. One held an AR and other a home defense shotgun.

Re: Disarming at Seaworld, San Antonio was not enough
Seaworld is one of my accounts (sell them valves). Haven't been there as a tourist but the gate I enter to visit with engineering is posted 30.06. Security at this gate is definitely not LE, nor armed. Vehicle is always given a (cursory) check.

Re: .22 cal LR / M&P 15-22 Sport Rifle
I've had one for a few years although don't shoot as often as is I'd like. Too many of my other children scream, "pick me" when I go to the range. I recently added a suppressor and use subsonic Ammo. The IMO manual recommends against certain Ammo (think 22s can be a little Ammo finicky) or...

Re: Campus Carry at Texas State University
My son is a student at Texas State. I responded to the survey as a parent that this would be a non-issue.

Re: Sig P938
Bought one a couple of years ago for my wife. Don't have as many rounds through it as some of my others but gave had no issues. Bought it to replace a Ruger LCP (that I did not like). Things I liked: - small enough to carry in my pocket (in a pocket holster) on days when wearing shorts - 9mm instead...

Anyone else think this is funny?
Stopped yesterday to use the restroom at an Exxon station in Buda. Store was posted with 30.06 and 30.07 signs. If that weren't enough, they also had a gun buster "No Firearms" sticker on the door. Yet just outside the bathroom, i saw this arts and crafts stuff for sale.

Actually, it was an F-101 Voodoo (or DooDoo). Phantom was on active duty, then again after the 101 in the Air National Guard. Generally don't like to mention the 101 in mixed company.

I have over 1000 rounds of surplus Greek 30.06 I bought from CMP for my M1 Garand. Some looks pretty ugly but never failed to go bang.

Only one I jumped out of was via ejection seat, shortly before it crashed into the Gulf of Mexico.
