Re: Top Gun Shooting Club 500 yd range opened north of McKinney

Never mind, I'm thinking of Red Zone Ranch - which was in the Melissa? Area. They returned my money in May of 2013. I apologize for the confusion.

Re: Top Gun Shooting Club 500 yd range opened north of McKinney

As members at the time, we were told initially that the county fire marshal was requiring a "Certificate of occupancy" (occupancy of what wasn't clear, as the only structure was falling down, and obviously not being used). Then later there were other regulatory issues, change requirements...

Re: Anti-Gun Groups Partnering with TV Shows

Y'all should let them know thru their website feedback. If I thought any of those ideologues actually cared, I would. Money talks but they knew what they were doing. I'll just let my lack of viewership speak for me. I do all I can to avoid the MSM. There were very few shows I watched on MSM and now...

Re: Anti-Gun Groups Partnering with TV Shows

I had exactly the same reaction. I was (extremely irritated) with the first gun control episode. The second one jumped the shark for me. I won't be watching it ever again. I even logged onto abc.com and strongly complained about the show. I also complained About what they've done to Jack Bower.

By the title, I'd guess San Antonio.

Re: ZERO CHL Permits in Hawaii

Does Hawaii require a fee when applying? I assume it would be non-refundable. Sounds like a scam to me.

Re: Research Help Needed!

Where does he get the power to confiscate, and presumably keep the firearms? If arrested, they will obviously take the guns, but he shouldn't forfeit them permanently

Re: Rewrite the LTC student test

Posting test questions is a BAD idea. And would most likely invoke the wrath of the moderators.

Re: Spanish LTC Class

If you require (at least) a non-refundable deposit, you'll find your no-shows diminish. Allow (if you wish) a reschedule if something comes up.

Re: My Ship Has Come In

Probably spam, though more verbose than most I've seen. I periodically get 1-2 line requests like: "Do you offer handgun training, and do you accept credit cards."

Re: CHL-100

If the student uploads the CHL-100 to dps, then they are getting a copy anyway. In an electronic world, there is really no difference between an original, and a copy.

If you can shoot for an entire day on a single box of ammo -- you're not doing it right! :-)
