Re: Bass Pro buying Cabela's
Well that just sucks. I live right down the street from Cabela's. I hope they don't change anything and jack up prices. Bass Pro is a complete joke when it comes to their pricing. I haven't been to Dick's since they bought Galyan's many moons ago because they pulled handguns off the shelves and just...

Re: A Ham Radio Sub-Forum?
There is a great linked repeater system in DFW called NCTC North Central Texas Connection that is also sometimes linked with Freedom Link Group that provides coverage west to near Abilene through DFW and out to east and northeast Texas and into Arkansas and Louisiana. We use NCTC a lot at the weathe...

Re: Johnson Space Center
Yeah, I realize now that I should have titled this Space Center Houston instead of JSC. I apologize for any confusion. This leg of the trip I'm taking was very last minute so I was rushing to get info.
Thanks everyone for all of the info.

Sounds that way to me too. I'm sure not going to make the whole trip unarmed.

Re: Johnson Space Center
If it's owned by a non profit, I would think you would be fine with it in your car. If they don't have signs, you should be fine to carry inside, website notwithstanding. If it were federal government owned, it certainly couldn't be considered not-for-profit (humor). There have been some thr...

Johnson Space Center
I might be going to Johnson Space Center this week for the tour and need to know if I can have a pistol in my car in parking lot. Their website FAQ says " not permitted in the facility" but doesn't say entire premises. It looks to be owned by a non-profit. I don't want to be on the wrong s...

I agree with the others. He declared he wanted to kill white people and white cops. Murdered 5 of them. Wounded 7 others plus some citizens got injured. They negotiated until they ran out of options. I would rest just fine if I pushed the button.

Re: Shots fired at BLM protest in Dallas
Yeah, seems to be conflicting info floating around. I heard it on NBC5 after the press conference but they also said it wasn't ready to go out on the air so I guess it slipped out without being confirmed.

I second The Belt Man. For a dressier belt, I've been eyeing a Kore Essentials X1 or X2 belt. I'm drawn to the near infinite adjustment. http://www.koreessentials.com/gun-belts
