Re: Interesting question involving both 1st & 2nd Amendment

I know several Cossacks, but I didn’t know they were members until after that horrid shootout.

My knee jerk is to despise gangs. On the other hand, the only Cossacks I know wouldn’t trigger the slightest concern in a dark alley. Maybe the local Cossacks “gang” didn’t fit the mold.

Re: CA: Rep suggests forceful confiscation with nukes

Been a while since I've posted, and here I show up like a bad penny and find something I've been pondering lately. Back in the good old days, when every cowpoke on TV packed a Colt and the term "drive-by shooting" had never been heard, philosophies like socialism weren't held in much highe...

Would perhaps a better question be, “Should you draw your weapon to help?”

Since the House has the power of the purse (and taxation), I guess Pelosi made him do it. :evil2:

Re: FBI Agent has ND

All of my short pull trigger/no safety ideas remain in place. I'm also the type to worry about slide-to-frame fit when the sear is in the frame, and the thing it's supposed to keep a grip on is in the slide. Polymer frames flex. Watch a slow motion video of a Glock discharging. Along with all my oth...

Re: Yelp* reviews for businesses that post 30.06 and/or 30.07

Yelp has a small business we own at the wrong address, and there is no correcting it. I even tried to locate their registered agent, which should be easy for any corporation, but I couldn't. Or I could, but they wouldn't admit I'd knocked on the right door. Yelp, Inc. was there in the California bus...

I still like The Freddie’s notice. A little sign by the door saying for the comfort of all their customers, they respectfully request their patrons refrain from open carry. Or something like that.

Re: Carry at gun show

Good question, but a gun show is like any other place in the world. Property owners have their rights, and we must respect them. There is the complication that many gun shows take place on public property, where lawful carry should not be discouraged, but in general the rules for carry at a gun show...

Re: Can We All Have Differences of Opinion?

Voltaire’s ideal of defending contrary opinion to the death is canon, but I believe we all agree he never shot a Glock.

Using the “color of office” to intimidate is the crime of official oppression. This is really incredible.

Chamberc, Is this your family member? viewtopic.php?f=108&t=92528&start=30#p1203378 No, it was the other teacher, Ann Perkins, that shoved the 15 year old girl out the door, saving her life, and then was shot by the coward. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5749549/Santa-Fe-High-shoot...

Re: Glock Guy's and Girls what do you think?

First up, I respect anyone's decision to carry any modern handgun. Use what works. A handgun with a light, short-throw trigger and no independent safety adds detail to the manual of arms. When I carried a P320, I never could shake a little worry about the sides of the trigger dragging on the Kydex o...
