Stupid Question of the Day
OK, stupid question of the day here folks, my Nomex suit is zipped up and ready.... My wife and I have been recently kicking around the notion of becoming NRA members, and she asked me about what sort of benies come with a 1500 dollar lifetime membership. I pulled up the site, and showed her are the...

Re: Traffic stop
My opinion on the subject is this: 1. Have both ID's and Insurance at the ready on top of dash. (I try to make sure these are within reach without having to lean over too far. I keep wallet in door handle and insurance on my visor) 2. Hands on top of steering wheel in plain sight as PD approaches 3...

Not disagreeing with you from a moral stance, but legally you HAVE to show them your CHL/LTC when engaged.

Re: Gun Belt Help
Crossbreed makes belts as well, even sells it as part of a pack with their holsters and mag carriers. I've been using one with my G19G4 for over a year now, and it's as goes as the day I got it, just appropriately broken in now as far as fitment goes. Can't speak as to if their in the range you'd li...

[quote=Your dollar is worth more. Foreign made guns will be cheaper.[/quote] Ill agree with this as it applies to retailers in the US, for us, the consumers however, all it means is that the profit margins for the dealers we purchase from get a bit larger. I could be wrong though. Maybe with the cur...

My favorite movie of all-time hasn't come out yet. You think you can make it come quicker? Although I have to say, I don't think it's one I even want to watch. It's going to one I'm thrilled exists, but just don't want to watch or hear the main actor. I'm already giving it two thumbs up, it's going...

I've never seen a duck attempt a carjacking either, which, given the amount of traffic they back up when they cross the street, is not lacking for opportunity or vehicle options.

Yes, they do, but guns don't understand laws, they're just mindless "weapons of war".
Stupid jokes aside, makes one wonder if Merkel still feels the same way about her policy to take in the flood of refugees that ISIS already made clear they would embed operatives into.

"Proverbial"
Sometimes, I'm a big believer in the use of the term "literal".

Did anyone else watch the voting on CSPAN last night? I think the most ridiculous thing I heard, aside from the bills themselves, was when Feinstein sought to further her argument by invoking the .50 cal rifle as, and I quote directly, "A weapon used by snipers, it can go over a mile, and throu...

Re: Asking for a friend
In Texas a felon can own a firearm for home defense only after 5 years from his disposition date. No range time, or any other firearm using. It is still against federal law though kinda like the marijuana dispensaries were (or are). I'm curious about the definition of premises, and whether it inclu...

Re: Rancher on horseback lassoes would-be bike bandit in Walmart parking lot
What a strange story. Does the rancher take his horse around fully saddled with rope at the ready or is the police response and the criminals escape exceedlingly slow? It is a great feel-good story, but one that puzzles me when I consider the time management of the characters in this adventure. Wel...

Re: Shoulder Replacement Surgery
I haven't had a replacement (yet), but I'm just shy of a year off of a Labrum Tear surgery, with a TFCC surgery 8 months before that. Recently I transitioned into "Home" Rehabilitation, which means I get to go to the gym again, as long as I take it easy.

Re: DAO and Safety On for LTC Test?
When my wife and I took our tests, the instructor made a point during the classroom session to say "All weapons that have safeties must have them engaged when they aren't being fired." He also pointed out that people with most revolvers, and Glocks were exempt since they don't have externa...
