Re: Trump or Clinton--our own poll

I do feel like I know a great deal about license to carry in Texas specifically & have a lot of experience to back that up. I also love that we have a license to carry (to answer Mr Cotton) & I'm proud to have one. i don't however support the idea of completely doing away with the license &...

Re: Still won't vote for Trump?

Insurance reform shouldn't be that complicated. Quit tying it to employer paid or provided and let it be a free market similar to auto insurance. Regulations can be lifted some what but I think you want some kind of oversight so drug companies don't kill people but at the same time l, how much money...

Re: Still won't vote for Trump?

25% increase in premium in 2017 for Obamacare? Where is the savings in the promised and hoped savings? Be thankful you aren't in Arizona, 116% increase for many. 50% for many in Texas. Mine is doubling because we have a "Cadillac" plan. One problem I have with the republicans is the whole...

Thoughts? Concerns?
One theory is the polls are tightening is because when Trump wins, the polls do not want to be wrong.

Re: I voted!

Today when I went to pick up my little girl, I passed by a polling location in Waco. There was a line wrapped around the building. I still hope that the rally attendance is an indication of which person everybody is showing up to vote for.

Re: I voted!

"Forward" "Together" "Unite" ect... are all used by the commies and socialist. As are most slogans with "workers" or "work."

Re: I voted!

I won't repeat it, but her/their slogan has a certain stodgy banality reminiscent of old school commies...it's a wonder we don't also see a hammer and sickle... :iagree: You mean something like this? https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/40/eb/f1/40ebf12fd5068515c141aa4c431b483d.png Or thi...

Re: I voted!

I sure hope with the turn out for early voting and things like this are a sign of what will happen 2 weeks from today. Re: One shot often doesn't end the threat

A sheriff deputy I have trained with said you keep firing until the threat stops. There is no pausing and if you run out of bullets, you reload and keep firing until the threat is stopped. This is why police fire so many rounds generally in a shooting. They are waiting for the threat to stop. Not sh...

Re: Cat among the pigeons time :)

At least my subcompact .40 is not a XD, not loaded with Critical Defense, and is carried in a leather holster. "rlol" It's not a Glock either so I'm confused whether I'm good to go or not... I would not say I'm an uniformed gun owner. What does the author of this article think of the sub c...

Re: What to do- Bull on property

Please forgive me, I might have laughed at you. :biggrinjester: I doubt you have anything to worry about with this big guy. In the open, I have never heard of a bull charging or being aggressive to a person. Put a cow in heat or another bull around and the story might change. Most of the danger from...
