Re: TX: breaking- active shooter West Houston
Thank GOD for protecting the officer arriving in his patrol vehicle. From pictures of the windshield, it looks like the bad guy was trying his best to kill him. I guess evil is not taking the holiday off in Houston.

Re: Son had a weird encounter at Walmart
I may be reading too much between the lines of your post, but I want to make it clear that I absolutely appreciate anyone who does honest work. If someone is doing a job, then I naturally assume that they cannot get a better job, because any sane, rational, person would choose the best job they cou...

Re: Son had a weird encounter at Walmart
Let's not forget we're talking about oral 30.07 and/or 30.06 notification to a 17yo. My point being that the 30.06 and 30.07 forms of trespass are only applicable to individuals licensed under Government Code 411, subchapter H. Therefore, the remedies under PC 30.06 and 30.07 are not available agai...

I hope he has a good lawyer who can sell it to the grand jury as robbery. Giving an interview would not have been my preferred post-event action.

Re: Man loses leg after shooting lawn mower
In today's world how is this stuff even legal to sell to the general public? I sometimes think mankind has gone ever so slightly insane. :tiphat: Well, they sell gasoline and matches, too. That doesn't mean I have to soak myself with gasoline and light up a cigarette. Tannerite comes with ins...

I really haven't seen the hard feelings, just some confusion. That may be an appropriate emotion for this thread subject.

Re: University of Texas dean quits school for job in Pennsylvania because of Lone Star state’s new policy allowing guns
Guys, I am not a professor. I did not make the posts everyone is using to say that I am at a university. You have me confused with someone else. I am mostly retired hoping to graduate soon to tired, and with a little luck, then to just busy. While I have certainly not been too shy in this forum abou...

It seems like a bit of a misrepresentation to me though that is just my opinion based on the following link which talks of him joining the University of Pennsylvania in July.: http://www.thedp.com/article/2016/02/new-design-dean Some can fool the young and willing journalists, but most of us season...
