Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
As a general rule, the more documentation you provide Austin, the faster the process of getting the card or having it denied. They might need to see the disposition just to clear a question. If you have already sent the application, I'm not sure I would send it separately. It might open a can of wor...

Re: HB 1143 - School Parking lot handgun and ammunition storage
A parent can have a gun in their car, parked in a school lot, but any employee of the district can not and is subject to immediate dismissal. Most districts use the rule set generated by TASBO (Texas Association of School Board Officials).

Re: 58,000 Non-U.S. Citizens Voted in Texas State Elections
The Morning News had a piece on this in the last couple days that mentioned that Texas has more naturalized citizens each year, 50,000, than any other state. If true, an alien could apply for a license, note that they are not citizens, and down the road in a year or two take the test and pledge, bec...

They aren't going to tell of course, but I'd love to know the process they followed by which they were able to determine who on the voter list is native born, naturalized, or non-citizen and ineligible. There had to be some serious computer time here.

Re: Wife Sick with Cancer.
I'm praying for you and your wife. My wife had cancer and her weight bottomed out at 84 pounds before she turned the corner. She is still with us after being declared free about three years ago. I am with you.

Thank you for this. You can bet it is going to be shared. This is a truly stupid idea.

Perhaps this will inspire others in Chicago to seek their license.

Must be a slow felony day down at the DA's office.
$2 bills
Has any group attempted to promote the second amendment by circulating $2 bills, or is it just too corney? They are so rare that it might open a door to chat about other 2's.

Consider whacking it gently with a soft mallet while turning it both clockwise and counterclockwise. Might unstick it.

Re: TX VOTER ID LAW
I can't address what your sister told you, but in these parts, the election officials insist on photo id for a real ballot, look at the id, and do this even if they know me personally or professionally. I would add that I haven't seen a Cruz or Beto sign in weeks. They were all down in days after th...

Hopefully the sheriff will get after this low life and find the guy. Our children deserve better than this.

Someone should start a Go Fund Me so the husband can get some range time and improve accuracy.

Thanks for eliminating one more. They are destroying the entire ecosystem, as well as the occasional golf course.

Re: TX VOTER ID LAW
If I showed my wife's ID and claimed to be her, I would not get a ballot and more likely be escorted to the county jail for ID theft. In my experience, the laws are enforced consistently and fairly. They just don't like LTC for ID because it causes them extra work.
